This morning.

The Launch of Sinn Féin’s General Election campaign.

The Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street, Dublin 2

They have tried to buy the electorate with election promises, said Gerry Adams, “but their sums didn’t and don’t add up”. He said the Taoiseach is refusing to answer questions on it.

He quoted Enda Kenny as saying: “I’m not going to get into economic jargon which the vast majority of people do not understand.”
Mr Adams said: “So there you have it. According to the Taoiseach, the people are stupid.”

Fight!

He’s right there. The actions of this and the previous government have made us more financially literate than we really deserve to be. Enda was covering himself because he’s the Achilles heel, he’s the empty vessel figurehead for some unknown reason, he’s completely ignorant of the issues and terrified of being exposed.

Prepare for the #wheresEnda hashtags, this guy is going to be locked in a box on Skellig Michael for the next three weeks.

He has a point….. but he is also in no position to accuse anyone of not answering questions.

I hate Irish elections and todays “politicians”. Every one of them is a transparent lair just hoping they will be slightly less transparent than the person beside them.

yea, like if someone asked Gerry Adams right after that “ok, so Kenny couldnt present any clear answer .. can you? can you go thru your maths and how you’d make it work if elected?” .. he’d probably be skunnered. he’d just be better at wrigglin out of it than Kenny.

Wow – a political party telling the truth and not promising their electorate again to get their vote – Do you remember that episode of the Simpsons where a pig flew

“I’m not going to get into economic jargon which the vast majority of people do not understand.”

I don’t think Enda Kenny understands it either and he’s being managed like a parent walking behind their newly walking toddler on a busy street.

Enda Kenny is a puppet for international handlers. He represents foreign interests over our own.

I’m reminded of a recent episode of the BBC’s ‘War and Peace. Jim Broadbent’s character – a Prince, has moved his family to their Moscow residence – he, upon arriving, declared that he was retiring to his study and did not want to be disturbed. He had matters to ponder beyond the comprehension of women and ne’er do wells (paraphrasing on the ne’er do wells bit – .but certainly, strongly implied) An Taoiseach must surely be reminded that he is not a Prince, rather, an elected representative and leader of our country. However contextually, or indeed ‘out-of”, his remarks were a sleight on the people who elected him.

Could you give the names and provide the evidence on who did Gerry Adams actually kill and pass it on to the authorities, indeed with such an insight you
may be able to tell us all exactly who killed who in the last 47 years and maybe
further back even to the civil war and all the institutional killings done by the
    so called “Free State”.

    1. Owen

Yeah, leave Gerry alone! He already passed on the names of a number of pedophiles he knew. Remember? Someone just ‘dropped them in his letter box’ after people asked for them for years. Totally innocent situation. If you forget that debacle and believe the rest of what he says he is 100% trustworthy!

They used the “Royal” Irish Academy!!
    These guys are hilarious!
True republicans, Adams couldn’t p**s straight.

Who has killed more innocent people in the last 30 years?

Suicides have due to financial burdens implemented by FF & FG.

Shinner- bot model T-600: primary mission: Must protect Kim Jong Gerry at all costs. Secondary objective: monitor online social media for comments highlighting SF criminal activity and address.

      2. Owen

Jimmy 2 tones – you Steve is looking backwards, but your comment above (weakly) links suicide over the past 30 years to FF & FG.

Why don’t you try looking forward and ask yourself are any of the promises SF make feasible? And do you think your could trust SF any more then FF or FG?… no is the answer.

Yeah, apparently they added on 2 billion to the fiscal space, pulled out of the space between the cheeks of their ars^holes. Fiscal spacers.
But we’re too stupid to understand the sums, according to your man who doesn’t know what the minimum wage is or who fills a tax return. What a gobsh^te

Society has been saddled with the debts of speculators and professional gamblers.

That is all there is to understand.

“Ban the USC. No – hang on – keep it – it’s ok. Pay water charges. No – hang on – they’re a vote loser. Water charges boo! What paedophile brother? What rapist cover-up? Jean McConville – who?”

Given the number of people who think AAA/PBP have a viable economic plan, Enda might not be wrong…

  12. Jake38

I love when the Jurrrry and the Shinners start talking about the economy. It reminds me of why I have 2 passports.

  13. Guido

The old er, spelling seems to be below broadsheet standards when it comes to the more political post comments. Just an observation.

  14. Kieran NYC

Speaking of thinking that the electorate is stupid, is Gerry still pretending he wasn’t in the IRA?

  15. Keith

So sick of people coming on and complaining about the current government and Enda etc etc. Everyone mouthing on about getting them out. I’d love to see who the hell these people plan on voting in as an alternative.
