at

In Wicklow town earlier today.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is heckled outside the constituency office of Fine Gael’s Andrew Doyle.

And in Portlaw, Co. Waterford…

Who are these people? they seem like the type of people I’d like to run our country, sure what could go wrong?

    1. linbinius

I don’t think they are attempting to run the country petal I think they are just showing their contempt of who does.

    2. Fatman Scooperman

Who are you? You seem like the type of person running our country. That’s going well.

They have a right to protest. Would come across much better without being foul mouthed but it’s their right none the less.

Hope they don’t talk like that around their kids though.

You talk like that around family and friends? Knacker. Lovely! Nice bit of caj, what one might call ‘racially charged’ language usually reserved for our minority ethnic group which loads of other people try to use the word Travelers to describe, but this was directed specifically at poor people. Well, some republican, he might be poor, who knows..

Don’t worry Alex, I have a parrot here that shouts at me and tells me how wrong I am when I mention racism or disgusting casual prejusice, so you don’t have to. Damn, need to feed him more.*

*Get it? Feed him! Like, feeding the tro.. ah here wtf is wrong with me.

Knacker is used interchangeably with skanger, especially in Dublin – it doesn’t necessarily mean a Traveller. I’d say most young people haven’t a clue it’s a word for traveller. Chill out.

Is calling a black man a NI€€er acceptable even if you didn’t know it was racist? Luis Suarez claimed that was the case but didn’t get too far with that defence

One of the tweets in response describea Enda as the most corrupt idiot of a taoiseach. I’m assuming this means he is more of an idiot than haughey and more corrupt than Bertie? I’m not buying the latter.

    1. Kieran NYC

Could be more corrupt than Haughey and more of an idiot than Bertie?

Not sure that would really fly either.

      1. Nigel

I’d be shocked if he turned out to be actually corrupt in the legal sense, rather than just a bit rubbish, really.

        1. ahjayzis

FG’s idea of corruption is far more high-brow than FF’s notion of bundling a few hundred euro notes into an envelope. It involves enriching their betters and hoping for a kickback by way of a cushy 2 hour a month board membership job after they leave politics. It’s a more long-term investment type scam.

  4. Truth in the News

Kenny is not corrupt, its that, he is just inept and totally out of his depth
and all the spin doctoring and manipulation by handlers won’t save him
Vast sections of the electorate know there is no “recovery” and Kenny
and his party are now going to discover this to their cost, just like Cowen
5 years ago….Water Tax will wipe them out…..and look out for the u turns
in the next week or so, they will do anything to hold on to ,power.
A national campaign is needed to reuse their own posters with the peoples
own slogans, its us thats paying for them and it would be last time the’d be ever
put up…..and we”d be rid of them and most those bedecked on them too

Hitler ronnie does it for me. The only problem is; Merkel might have got to Kenny’s mouth first with her felt tip.

    1. f_lawless

he’s corrupt in the moral sense – eg. while 1 child in 8 lives in consistent poverty according to Central Statistics Office, Kenny continues to advocate paying back financially elite unsecured bond holders.

    1. muckish

Shouldn’t you be looking for a job. And when you’re at it, brush your teeth.

See, I know as much about you as you know abouth “them”.

Fine Gael will use the Special Criminal Court to jail protesters on false charges.

    Just wait and see.

Protesters, whistleblowers and opposition TDs have already been arrested and charged on trumped up charges in the run up the election. John Wilson, Joan Collins, Mick Wallace, Clare Daly, Paul Murphy, all oppose the Government’s inaction on police corruption and the policy of Austerity which favours the wealthy. Gemma O’Doherty has been stopped and harassed by police because she is asking questions the Government don’t want to answer.

If you want to live in a country where abuse of the justice system becomes the norm and citizens who don’t have the right opinion are arrested for it, then vote Fine Gael.

Ah here. I’ll buy a return ticket to Pyongyangg for any Éirigí ‘member’ coupled with €10000 of spending money provided they supply a comprehensive report on individual freedoms in NK v ROI. For God’s sake….
