Pretty sure they are standing on a cycle lane…..I wonder was Mr. GoproOnMyHelmetHead aware of this blockage……horrible stuff altogether!

Omg, cycledub or dubcycle was only brought to my attention this week. Have a look through his videos. It took me around 6 videos to be convinced it wasn’t a parody.

Also, check out the difference in his approach to women and men. He’s a nasty piece of work

In fairness, while cycledub is a pain in the bum, people standing around in the cycle lane are worse. At least you can ignore cycledub.

They do very little to stop it and if the place wasn’t owned by a former cop, crowds of people would not be allowed stand beside unprotected deep water while drinking alcohol.

Someone is going to drown there some day. Or more likely two. One trying to save the other.

And someone else is going to get a severe whack of a bike while crossing the bike path to get another Bulmers on Ice.

AS much as I’d have loved to have joined, it was pretty cold by the time work let out.
I’ll hold off on my first Barge day til it’s actually t-shirt weather.

I saw they renovated the Barge, anyone know if its worth popping in? It’s the type of place I’ve never been bothered with unless it was sunny

Not really, it’s exactly the same as it was with bare walls, some ironwork and craft beer. You can tell it’s craft beer because they have murals exclaiming CRAFT BEER on the walls.

  4. Gah!

At least the alcohol would stop them feeling the cold. Daft. First bright day and everyone goes mental.

…if there isn’t a queue outside Teddys or Harbo getting dyspepsia from tykes leaping over his latte…it isn’t summer

I was there yesterday after work. 5.15pm. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and they had a barman standing on the bridge not letting people across with Alcohol. It was jammed by 5.40pm outside but i did notice that the bike lanes were completely clear. It was warm to start but did get a little chilly by 6pm. The Barge has been newly renovated and to be honest, not much has changed. Loud garish murals on the walls and a general spring clean but nothing too exciting.
