At Carrigaline Court Hotel – where final submissions are taking place on day 11 of the oral hearing into the €160million proposed incinerator for Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

Does this incinerator contract have a clause whereby the state must pay the operators if the state cannot provide enough rubbish to it on a daily/weekly basis?
I don’t think there’s any public/local authority involvment in this project. Not like other incinerator projects in Ireland.

Seriously, in this day and age why aren’t these public meetings run with live Webcasts where people can contribute over IM or audio. Dedicated websites which publish documentation, notes, etc – before, during and after meetings. Ireland, technology hub my ar$3. Same carry-on with the Carrs hill bypass.
