          Haha

Well I’m saying +1,000,001 Baranabas, how do you like them apples?

Nobody mentions that Enda dropped the ‘N’ bomb in a joke at a party conference some years back. Look it up. The Indo story is still online I think? No doubt he won’t be having a go at Gerry about it. Then again he might. His neck is surely brassy enough. And the media is inept/ compromised enough to not hold Enda up on it if he did have a go at Gerry. What a great little country we have here. Pearse, Clarke, McDonagh, all you guys. Thanks for your sacrifice, but it was wasted. And yeah…Gerry needs to go away at this stage. For the sake of the party.

Very little comparison between the two incidents.

Adams used the word in the context of implied solidarity with the African-American community. There’s absolutely no question that Adams didn’t mean offence. And no question that Adams is not a racist.

Kenny used the word in the context of a childish, snide little *joke*. He’s too ignorant to even realise that it might have been offensive. His only regret was that it was picked up and publicised.

Yes he did, 13 years ago as recently mentioned in the Irish Times despite Eoin’s assertion that nobody mentions it.

“I’ve never seen myself as white. That’s only skin deep. I’m a human being. We’re all human beings, whatever our skin colour, whatever our gender, whatever our ability or disability. The fact is we’re all human beings.”

This is what he actually said, it puts it in a totally different context.

‘That every will must consider every other will its equal––would be a principle hostile to life, an agent of the dissolution and destruction of man, an attempt to assassinate the future of man, a sign of weariness, a secret path to nothingness.’ Bob Marley

          1. realPolithicks

That’s actually a quote from Frederick Nietzsche…and totally irrelevant.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe

Everyone is the same colour when dragged out of their homes and shot in the back of the head for talking to the police

Everyone is the same colour when they are shit in the knees by appointment for involvement in petty crime

Everyone is the same colour when they are shot in a robbery to fund raise for the cause

Everyone is the same color when they are dragged out of their home and shot by the police.
Everyone is the same color when they are bombed in Dublin and Monaghan.
        Get off your high horse.

This attack on Adams has absolutely nothing to do with racism.

It’s because he leads a party which advocates for more taxation of the wealthy and better distribution of wealth, much like FDR’s new deal actually.

The media will attack him and any Sinn Fein politician simply because those journalists are bought and sold by the billionaires who employ them.

So the fact he used a racist epithet has absolutely nothing to do with racism?

Absolutely nothing? That is your point?

I just want to make sure in case I unfairly label you a complete and utter cretin. Absolutely.

Sinn Fein compared to the New Deal… quality analysis there Pish.

Funny how SF are behind cuts to health in NI, but dead against it down South. Makes you wonder what else they’re not being straight about.

Denies ever being in the IRA, now denies being white. Next he’ll be saying he never had a beard.

      *snigger*
(As in, that’s what your beard comment made me do. Not racist.)
