No need to leave the city centre this weekend to get your festival fix as Interlude in the RHA Gallery is offering three days of music both outdoors on Ely Place and indoors in the art gallery.
Music ranges from hip-hop and dance headliners (Grandmaster Flash, Dimitri From Paris, Kenny Dope) established Irish artists & DJs (Lisa Hannigan, Donal Dineen, Tonie Walsh, Billy Scurry) to upcoming Irish artists (Wyvern Lingo, Booka Brass, Bad Bones, TooFools).
There is a Nialler9 stage on the Sunday too featuring Solar Bears, Cian Ó’Ciobhain and a Bantum (Prince A/V set) among others.

Is it FREE?
-You didn’t say whether it was free or not.
I’m old, but I have heard of a few of these ‘performers’ before so I’m interested.
‘Unannounced’ special guest sounds good, but Tonie Walsh is playing the same day so I’ll give that a miss.
PS.
I have a spare wheel-chair that I’m not using. It used to belong to me Granny. If you need it for Grandmaster Flash give me a bell.
Only slagging. I can’t go because I’m too old and extremely bitter. Hope everyone has a great time and you make loads of money.
Grandmaster Flash is beyond woeful, not a patch on what he used to be.
Some good acts there for sure but it’s pretty unimaginative.
Billy Scurry still going makes me feel old.
He is deadly but he does get wheeled out at these types of line ups. Same with Fish Go Deep and others.
So many great younger djs in this country that don’t get the recognition they deserve.
Anyone know what the drink situation will be at this?
Pillz n yokez
One bar for every 10k people, with one slow barmaid and flimsy foldy plastic cups meaning you’ll lose half the beer on your trip through the gauntlet of wooly hatted idiots in quirky outfits.
Having said that I do enjoy a good festival … just doesn’t look like this will be one of those.
“No need to leave the city centre this weekend ” – cos I guess we are already there

Nobody else would have the temerity to say it, but I can.
If you had punctuated that last line properly it would have been funnier.
It would’ve said Hope everyone has a great time, and you make loads of money.
That comma makes all the difference.
I dunno…
It smacks of the oul’ ‘We Aren’t Dead Yet’ vibe, which isn’t as ‘groovy’ as it used to be when The Banana Splits were considered as ‘radical’ television, and people weren’t expected to have imagination…
But I digress…
I ALWAYS DIGRESS.
It’s nothing personal against any of the charlatans ‘performing’ at this benefit, but if The Charlatans were performing it would bring the average age down quite a bit…just sayin’…
PS
smack!!!!!
PPS.
-Admittedly, I don’t know many of these so-called artistes .
– As Midget Hoor with the big belly said;
Ooohhh…Vienna-Roll…
…it means nothing to me…
If anyone can put me straight about these other artists whose names I never heard of before I would appreciate it.
No messing.
