Why are England such a crap football team yet fellas are glued to their players week in and week out?
The best players at the best PL teams aren’t English, by and large.
Just because fellas are glued to the PL every week doesn’t make it a good league, it’s not. The standard has been dipping in the last few years and is at a pretty low base now. English players rarely go outside their own league to play so they are at the mercy of the health of the league in general.
Apparently it’s only the 3rd best league in Europe, which means it is only the 3rd best league in the World, which means it is utter shite (even though Manchester City got to the semi-finals of the Champions League a couple of months ago.
And even though many of the world’s best players play in the league.
And English players have no heart or technical ability even though they came from 1-0 down to beat Wales.
The best South Americans and Africans play in Europe.
What Europeans play in South American or African leagues?

English fans weren’t long giving up. The Icelanders were chanting all the way through. Powerful stuff. Their clap/shout was amazing. Great atmosphere.
Itv commenters and pundits were straight on England’s case. Building them up, hype and unreal expectations. The pressure is unreal for them. Hard to see an England team getting anywhere soon.
