It’s gas how patronizing most of the women I know are to our dear President.
Every time they see him it’s all “ah would ya look at him, isn’t he so cute!”

I suppose he is cuddlier looking that Mary Robinson

Heh, that was EXACTLY what I was thinking.
I then thought that he would’ve been relatively safe in the trenches as he could never really have raised his head above the parapet.

Robbo was very cuddly looking in that portrait made of carpet that used to be in a shop window on Dame St.

Because the monument at Thiepval, has no walkways, and nobody’s accorded any special treatment other than the unknown soldiers buried behind it. Everybody is equal at the memorial only the fallen are honored.

He is walking either too or from the burial site behind the monument, in this photo.

Walking from the burial site, just noticed the wall behind him which is only at the front of the memorial

A wonderful, genuine, intelligent & articulate person. We should be as proud of him as he is of this country.

Just in case we forgot Germany won the War….who controls Europe now
M D did a lot whinging about the Provos while pontificating around UCG
yet he is very comfortable paying homage to the Empires “Men of Voilence”
How does this all square with the use of the paramilitary Black and Tans in Ireland
couple of years later after the slaughter at the Somme, will the next revionist
commemoration be for the “Tans” in front of the GPO.
