    Projections suggest 38.4 per cent of men here will be classed as obese by 2025, while 9 per cent will have diabetes.

    For women, it is expected that 36.9 per cent will be obese, while 6.3 per cent will have diabetes.

    Very interesting. 150 years ago the Dutch were among smallest in Europe; they credit their large consumption of dairy (lots of yogurt drinks and cheese!) for their giant height.
    Vietnamese men during the Vietnam War were an average of something like 4’9″ (1 metre 44) — the diet must have changed considerably if Vietnamese women are now 5′ (1 metre 50).
