Needs more books.
Also, with all that room, why would you lay the books on their side, making the one at the bottom of the pile hard to remove?
WHY?

I can confirm that is not the case. I’ve had to do some furniture moving in the past few days and I have approx 200 books resting on top of an (entirely overfilled already) old-fashioned bookcase with nowhere to put them.
I’ve given all the rubbish ones to charity (my generosity knows no beginning) and refuse to give them away as I like book-memories.
