Gareth Naughton writes:
In episode three of Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope, Aisling can’t help herself at the an important business dinner and the results leave her skating on thin ice. And Danielle’s attempts to help don’t quite go according to plan.

Painful rubbish.
Better than last week’s clip but you’d wonder who RTÉ thinks is watching this. Cant imagine many late teens and early 20s folk are watching TV these days. Also they know when they’re being preached to. This country has a ridiculous drink problem though
from twitter last week lots of young women in their early-mid 30s were loving it.
Irish people love familiarity. ‘Oh I remember doing this when I was drunk therefore this is great’. If nostalgia was a drug the nation’d be in Tabor lodge.
Not just Irish people, look at Peter Kay’s success.
Phoenix Nights was genius…everything else has been….a disappointment.
You’re right Mani, I was thinking more of his stand up really.
Oh agreed. His stand up was always sweaty rubbish.
Garlic bread!?!?
Nostalgia just isn’t what it used to be.
cleans rose tinted glasses, stops playing David Grey on loop
I thought the first two episodes were great – and Aisling has the most wonderful lips.
I didn’t think it was amazing, but there were a few funny moments. I quite liked the bouncing co-worker. More odd characters like that appearing in small roles would make the show stand up a bit more. At times it doesn’t seem to know if it wants to be a real life comedy or an off the wall comedy, and without defining what it’s meant to be, it’s just going to die a death in another episode (but still get 10 more seasons because RTE don’t listen to their audience).
RTE wont even allow comments on the video LOL
the voice of a generation.

Cold Feet is miles better.
HACKNEYED VOICE OF A GENERATION.
This storyline must count as plagiarism, surely?
So bad…. So very very poor and bad. Did I mention its also not funny.
Not smart enough to be interesting and too stupid to be funny. If you like LJG you’ll enjoy.
Does anyone remember This Life?
That’s what we need. Can’t find a torrent :-(
Or the first go-around of Bachelors Walk (before the ill-advised Christmas “special”)
the second season is actually on YouTube but I haven’t been able to find the first season anywhere
only misogynistic begrudgers will say that this is absolute garbage and another example of montrose nepotism
I want to like it because I think the cast are mostly talented. But the dialogue is so off. It feels like they’re being forced to add in “like” so it sounds completely unnatural and most of the script is just dull a.f. They had the budget to do something great but it just seems like someone had a really boring life and thought it was interesting enough to write about. The writer said she was determined to get it on screen. Why? Watch BBC’s Fleabag, and see how a story can be told!
