I was watching the 9 o’clock News on RTE., looking for something to get upset about.
I saw them releasing some white doves for something or other. (I had the volume down.)
I wondered, what happens to those doves, raised in captivity, released into the wild with no notion of how to survive?
Are the like homing pigeons?
Can they be re-used?
Then I remembered… There’s better things to worry about and I switched off the TV.
