And here. Egg waffles and pancakes. Vom.

I think I’d be sick if I tried to eat that crap in the morning.

I can’t tolerate anything stronger than porridge and a slice of toast for breakfast. All that sugar? Bleurghhh.

Aye, I’m short of time in the morning so Mon-Thu is nuked with lo-fat but Fri-Sun is on the hob with ‘proper’ milk, sprinkle of cinnamon, drop of maple syrup and a wee shake of salt!

Kieran, this is serious porridge talk now. No messing.

Salt?! You are mad. I’m a purist – land of milk and honey for me.

My granny made me porridge once when I was little that was like eating the sea. Never again.

Don, for sure, it’s an acquired taste….but I do only put a very little bit in to cut the sweetness of the maple. I’ve never tried whisky/whiskey on it either: that might be one for Hogmanay.

I use honey in the nuked version, Don, but the syrup is more of a weekend treat. Porridge TIme brought to you in association with Flahavans/McCanns/Odlums.

I will talk more about porridge if any porridge people feel like sending porridge…

I like the pretense that Nutella is a Hazelnut-based spread. When you think of all the really nice unhealthy pasties you could be getting in Italy.
