As Nicola Sturgeon visits Ireland to strengthen links & Gerry Adams launches 'Towards a United Ireland', I can't help but think of these two pic.twitter.com/PHdAANHgsf

Tony. Do you work with Broadsheet?
Hi Rob/Yoda – are you Mr T and Jonotti?
I’ve only ever posted as Rob_G – how many usernames have you gone through?
Did you compare me to the Nazis for opining that a tweet wasn’t particularly interesting?
Suffering Jaysus…
Steady on mate. There’s need to invade Poland
I was thinking more of Benandonner and MacCool.
Celtic Union anyone?
Ireland and Scotland. Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh. All part of the EU.
The United Kingdom of Southern Britain and Northern Ireland.
The United Republic of Northern Britain and Southern Ireland.
X marks the spot.
It’s my island and I’ll cry if I want to.
Sturgeon is banjaxed and she knows it.
Spain has already vetoed her ludicrous idea of Scotland remaining in the EU after Brexit and with oil below 50 bucks a barrel the Scottish economy is more dependant on the rest of the UK – primarily the rich South of England – than ever.
It’s appropriate she’s in Ireland amongst friends – neither Ireland or Scotland has any relevance in today’s Europe other than being lapdogs of the English.
Twas ever thus.
Why is it a ludicrous idea?
If Scotland stays in EU, Catalonia will be next in line. Spain will never permit it.
Belgium, neither.
The economic case for an independent Scotland looked convincing-ish when oil was over $100 a barrel; now it is far from convincing.
The SNP know this for sure.
She has me thinking of Edward Bruce…
RUN!!!
