Walter Hobbs
Walter Hobbs was IBRC’s independent expert who oversaw the massively controversial sale of Siteserv to Denis O’Brien-owned Millington.
In a memorable RTÉ Prime Time appearance last year, Mr Hobbs described the deal as the best the state could have achieved.
So what of Walter now?

The “Phoenix” phenomenon as it used to be known – more recently the “John Tierney” phenomenon. How egregious a failure do you have to be in a job before people rush to employ you in a similar position?
John Tierney is not a failure, he’s been appointed to do what he had always done. Move colossal amounts of public money into private ownership, legally.

On a lighter note I always chuckle to myself when I read “Adult children” in relation to someone’s offspring. I always think of giant man bodies in suits with baby heads on them
I’m always baffled as to why personal info like that is included.
Perhaps it’s to help them pass as human in their personal advertisements.
