Each year Irish Design Shop produce a calendar with a talented Irish designer, we are delighted to see Dublin-based illustrator, Fuchsia MacAree’s 2017 Calendar,  Months in the making, The end result is an exquisite calendar containing 13 keepsake prints exclusive for Irish Design Shop…

Fuschia adds:

“Inspired by postcards of Ireland, this calendar gives a flavour of the country in the 21st century…. Maybe buy it for an emigrant to show them what they’re missing back home, or for someone who seems just a little bit too cheery, considering.”

Harrumph.

Bodger please give one of these to Kieran NYC, real Polithicks. that angry lad who cycles 10 minutes to work in a major EU capital, and the other exiles like Anne in Limerick

          Noun
          (plural crayturs)

(Ireland, slang) phonetic spelling of creature (term of endearment, a wretch).

As an emigrant, these are the last things I would buy. Sorry. Paddy-whackery used to sell to the eastern-coast USA in the eighties. Even they have moved on.

hahaha you couldnt have missed the point more. theyre purposely uninteresting places in each pic. unless of course, you see the M4 toll bridge as a twee postcard image? lol

I know that. Lol to you too. Slagging off Oireland is not done abroad. If anything we’re trying to lose the stupid leprechaun image – of which these items do nothing to assist.

          Good luck with that one….

I like this calendar, it takes an artist to capture the absurdity of Ireland
