Sean Walsh Park, Whitestown Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

Lynne writes:

So, I was walking to college on Saturday morning when I got a bit lost and ended up walking over this hill. A guy on the path beside it started shouting at me: ‘missus, missus, you didn’t walk over that did you?’ ‘Over what?’ ‘That…. On the grass, that was done by a satanic cult.’

In case you can’t make it out, it’s an upside down pentagram. ‘You’re cursed love, cursed. Six people who went near that are fucked. Go home and bless yourself. Seriously love you’re cursed,’ he added..

It was 9am. I have no idea how to bless myself. But at least everything I did at the staff Christmas ‘do now makes sense. It wasn’t me, it was the pentagram.

Sean Walsh is the name of the pentagram tattooed park. Lynne is the name of the unblessed individual.

Thankfully two magpies flew by (could have been older crows) and she saw a black cat walk under a ladder (could have been a small dog under a shop sign) thus negating the need for said blessing. Singing the theme tune to The Brandy Bunch also would have done the job.

If you run a bicycle over it three times anti-clockwise the Ghost Rider of Tallaght will appear to you and give you heart burn before disappearing on his tricycle he borrowed from that guy in Saw. Because his motorbike is in the garage, like, so it is.

it’d be just sad if it didn’t also have a hold over the education of our children; then it becomes tragic and sinister.

Went to a sacred forest recently. Had to wear a black sarong so as not to sight the six-headed snake within. I was perfectly willing to take the risk…but no.

“I was walking to college on Saturday morning when I got a bit lost”

Sounds like a walk of shame to me.

Yeah, first of all nobody in the history of student life has anyone ever gone to the library on a Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon maybe, and then only at exam time. Secondly how do you “get a bit lost” going to college? It’s somewhere you go every day. Unless you have some type of amnesia it seems unlikely.

Sure when we were drinking cans as teens we would doodle lil baphomets and such on esb boxes and such. No cults, just bored metalheads with sharpies. Superstitious muck ted.
