      Because there is almost zero coverage of Irish music on mainstream television in Ireland at present, and Messrs. Dineen and O’Reilly had the people, means and intent to fill in the breach, alongside Ray Wingnut’s Guerilla Sessions and DCTV’s The Parlour.

      Also, No Disco wasn’t crap. Name me another mainstream television programme that showcased independent music and culture more effectively.

        Ok. It’s 2017. You want to know what’s going on, go to the internet. TV is dead. And as for No Disco not being crap, I’m taking from this that you never watched it.

          Eh this was released on The Facebook. The Facebook is 86% more internet.

          No Disco was brilliant for it’s time. Most who work in the music industry remember it well.

    And stop saying “the holidays”! Christmas. It’s Christmas. I’m not even a Christian but it’s Christmas.

      It is for everyone except people that don’t celebrate Christmas. Also, New Year’s isn’t Christmas. So, the overarching holiday season is just that. The holidays.

    ‘The holidays’. We don’t live in the US, Mike, so let’s split the diff and call it Winterval.

      It’s not the holidays unless you take the holidays.
      So for those of us that work the last few days of December, it’s (a) christmas and (b) New Year.

      (a)
      can be ‘christmas’ for the unfaithful;
      ‘Christmas’ for the faithful;
      ‘the christmas’ for many Dubs; or
      ‘IIIIITTSSSS CHRRRRRRR-IS-MAAAAAAS’ for Noddy Holder, Bertie and Gah!
