I thought Glen Hansard solved the homeless crisis.
Remember that episode of Apollo House where he saved Christmas?
    Good times.

Blushoight Fraperoom will earn their wages this week (what’s the wiffy password, lads?).

Glen Hansard and Home Sweet Home showed the government up for the useless shower they are so, obviously, they must be put down. Better to attempt to make fun of those who tried, than to make excuses for the failure of 6 years of FG austerity policies.

More Jonathan Corries dying would reduce the numbers, eh?

Coveney was born with a silver spoon in his gob. He’s knows nothing about people who struggle to make ends meet.

There should be no more inheriting Mammy or Daddy’s seat. Political dynasties are a pox on this country.

“The ideal Ireland that we would have, the Ireland that we dreamed of, would be the home of a people who valued material wealth only as a basis for right living, of a people who, satisfied with frugal comfort, devoted their leisure to the things of the spirit – a land whose countryside would be bright with cosy homesteads… whose firesides would be forums for the wisdom of serene old age…
“We of this time, if we have the will and active enthusiasm, have the opportunity to inspire and move our generation in like manner. We can do so by keeping this thought of a noble future for our country constantly before our eyes, ever seeking in action to bring that future into being, and ever remembering that it is for our nation as a whole that future must be sought.”

Yes. The authors of that speech were very keen on frugality, for the masses, not themselves. You left out the comely maidens and the sturdy children romping about the place. These same people presided over some of the worst sums in Europe and enormous deprivation.
