Great title to the post. There used to be a congratulatory, “Great Title” of the day going on thing on BS – I loved it. – now, is everyone cynical? Who can forget (or remember) “Seamus Beanie”, or indeed, “He was just doing stuff with his hands”. – (interestingly, two references to funerals, Seamus Heaney and Nelson Mandela).
I lived in London for a long time – at lunch-time, I’d make my order for a sandwich in Covent Garden, before I had finished ordering (I was a regular), the sandwich was already in the bag. In Ireland, they would ask – butter, or mayonnaise, 20 minutes for a sandwich?.
It’s not about the sandwich! (I know!).

There have been some absolutely magnificent titles in the past. Absolute crackers.

Perhaps someone can go and root out a few?

And actually, on that topic, I’d like to nominate today’s “I Have Had Many Grown Men Cry In My Presence”.

It might just be my sense of humour, but I belly laughed as soon as I read it.

I love when everyone is lovely – without going all hippy on it – yes, I’m of that age. Increasingly, there’s a negative vibe (Jesus, just slipped into hippy mode). Can’t we all just get along?

No I’ll second that. I like a well-placed cheeky comment, and feisty debate as much as the next lady, but lets not go full Boozed Up Britz Abroad.

You ALL know what I mean.

(Sarcasm and witty comments – well founded and industriously researched – I love! An occasional nod to the Sub-editor is all)
