I’m not whining about anything. I’m laughing at the garbage that people preached as fact and even more so now that the chief idiot has had to come out and apologise for peddling the garbage.

      2. ReproBertie

I’ve just realised, you think I’m mocking Pizzagate because it’s an attack on Clinton and if you drag someone else into it I’ll suddenly think twice about it. No, I’m mocking it because it’s utter lunacy. Despite it being debunked again and again, and now admitted as utter fantasy by the chief lunatic, there are still poor misguided people, like you presumably since you’re so swift to defend it, who believe it.

Are you a Bodger sock puppet?

          1. ReproBertie

You’ll say any old crap to deflect from admitting that you believe the biggest fairy tale since Scientology.

          2. ReproBertie

Laughing at Alex Jones having to admit that pizzagate is pure fantasy is hardly hanging on his every word but you carry on deflecting. It must be a difficult time for you when one of the major conspiracy loons openly admits that it’s a load of nonsense.

          3. Ratatattat

It’s hard to follow your line of argument jusayinlike- would you mind clarifying ? Thanks

          4. ReproBertie

Good luck getting anything like sense from Jusayinlike. He’s probably searching through your old posts to find something you like that he can try to use to question your judgement. Don’t forget we were promised a big in depth analysis piece explaining and providing evidence for pizzagate weeks ago. (We were also promised a huge revelation about Hilary Clinton last November.) By jusayinlike’s logic the lack of such a post is the strongest evidence possible of the conspiracy.

          5. Kieran Nice Young Chap

            Broadsheet’s lunatic fringe.

Pity the leader is Broadsheet’s chief ‘investigator’.

          6. Nigel

            Jusayinlike and Alex Jones
            In a tree
            A-G-R-E-E-I-N-G
            First comes love
            Then comes marriage
Then Alex Jones repudiates his previous held position.

          7. jusayinlike

            Here’s a nice little nugget for you petey;

Alex Jones is great friends with Charlie Sheen, Charlie Sheen’s father Martin is a Knight of Malta, his original name is Estevez, he was jesuit educated and fell head over heels for his Jesuit arch-bishop mentor, Fulton Sheen, so much so that he changed his name from Estevez to Sheen..

          8. jusayinlike

The knights of malta also control Alex Jones through his contributor Pat Buchanon who is a knight..

        1. Ratatattat

I don’t like to prejudge people with all respect Bertie
Let jusayinlike speak for himself please

          1. jusayinlike

Why thank you for your respectful approach ratatattat, it’s very much welcomed from the childish bile unleashed by the confused neo-liberals currently on board.

To answer your query, Alex Jones initially broke pizzagate through Trump dirty trickster Roger Stone, it was initially designed to undermine Hillary Clinton and was aimed primarily at funders and movers behind her failed campaign, what was not planned was for it to spiral out of control and begin to engulf sections of the rep party, specifically Flynn and Pence, cue chief propogator and Trump mouthpiece Alex Jones to suddenly do an about u turn and claim it to be completely false.

From its release to present Bertie and co have whined about this story and attacked Jones for spreading it, but suddenly and as soon as his “coincidental” u turn fit their narrative they turn to quoting Jones and using his spineless u turn as an indication that pizzagate is “fake news”, this spectacular piece of media trickery has failed and serves only to strengthen the existence of the racket and further shows that they have actually lost complete control of it online, the claims that Flynn lost his job due to an illicit pow wow with Russia, commonly called the Logan act is laughable, sure Henry Kissinger would be banged up year on year if that was the case with his dalliance’ with bilderberg, the rumours are that Pence is directly linked through his best mate Mormon Jeff Flake, Flynn knew this and attempted to use it, hence his axing, Alex Jones has been drafted in to sacrifice his spinal column and try and appease the masses, his assertion that it’s fake strengthens its existence and anyone who claims otherwise is a hypocrite..

          2. jusayinlike

Notice how neither Bertie, Nigel or Kieran would answer whether they agree with Alex Jones because they know how hypocritical a stance that would be, yet hilariously Bertie chose to quote him and Kieran and Nigel rowed in behind him, interestingly if Pence is caught out here (which Jones u turn would lead me to believe he is) that would leave Trump very vulnerable, you would think some of these neo liberals would rub their hand together at such a prospect and perhaps look closer at it, but instead we see blind egoism and petulant snarky remarks..

          3. jusayinlike

And Kieran ive always said this, if you don’t like content on broadsheet or disagree with its editorial stance, go elsewhere, the sight of you as a professed right winger mooching around a centre left site shows how confused you must be about your own political leanings, surely Joe.ie would suit you better..

          4. jusayinlike

CNN and other Time Warner pro Clinton/democrat affiliates could also take advantage of this turn but instead buck the trend and laughably claim that the real reason Flynn was dumped was because his son was peddling conspiracy theories about pizzagate.. hilarious, even more so because their initial and official state department release claimed he was axed because of an illicit phone call he had with Russia, therefore triggering the Logan Act, absolutely tomfoolery of the highest order..

          5. ReproBertie

jusayinlike you never answer direct questions and then get all high horsey when people don’t answer your loaded ones.

I do not believe Alex Jones has an ounce of credibility and, far from whining, I am taking great pleasure in seeing him have to admit as much to his followers.

I’ve never whined about Pizzagate. I have been laughing about it from day one and the more you scramble to reframe the discussion and defend it the funnier it gets.

          6. jusayinlike

“I do not believe Alex Jones has the slightest bit of credibility”

Yet you cite him and use his statement as support for your argument,

“You never answer direct questions than get high horsey when people answer your loaded ones”

Ok I’ve clearly answered all that’s been asked of me above, and not insulted anybody while I was doing it unlike you Bertie,

            “reframe the discussion”
please explain, I’m not following you here..

          7. ReproBertie

Pointing and laughing is not the same as quoting and citing as support for an argument but you know that.

You ignored my question about being a Bodger sockpuppet but let’s try this one, why do you believe pizzagate?

My initial post was about Alex Jones, the guy who “initially broke pizzagate” having to apologise and retract his statements. Since then you have brought Mike Pence, Mike Flynn’s sacking, Joe Rogan, the UFC, the mafia (Chinese or otherwise), Jeff Flake, Roger Stone, allegations of whinging, Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all into this post in an attempt to reframe the discussion about anything other than Alex Jones being forced to admit that it’s a load of rubbish. That’s ignoring the number of times you asked people to take a position on all of Alex Jones’ output just so you can use their answer to try and discredit the simple fact that he has had to own up. You accuse me of childish insults while posting garbage like “Bertie obviously accepts his news from Alex Jones unreservedly..” and “Another Alex Jones apologist..” purely to try and provoke a reaction and distract from the simple fact that Alex Jones, the guy who “initially broke pizzagate”, has had to admit it’s a fantasy.

          8. jusayinlike

Bertie, Roger Stone broke pizzagate and used trump mouthpiece Alex Jones and his faux conspiracy platform infowars to propogate it, if anyone is “reframing the discussion” it is you, all the people you list I have provided evidence for, your assertion that I insulted people by claiming they are Alex Jones apologists or recieve their news from Alex Jones is relevant considering they either cited him (like yourself) or refused to answer whether they believe him, you have claimed above that you do believe him, I therefore find your judgement questionable, your infatuation with UFC and consideration of it as a sport whilst being owned by the Chinese mafia also supports this view, it’s relevant and is worthy of inclusion. And in all fairness, asking me if I’m a bodger sock puppet is not a question, you laid that out as an insult and don’t even pretend otherwise, this is on the back of other petty insults like lunatic, mental gymnastics, and last week you also called me a lunatic conspiracy theorist and compared me to Dan Brown, If anyone is losing the control of their thumbs and cognitive dissonance here it’s you..

          9. jusayinlike

            Why do I believe pizzagate?
Because of the mountains of sleazy circumstantial evidence backing it up, because of the actions of some of the accused after the story broke, because of the reactions of the paid-for stooge media (fake news!!! LOL), because of the pathetic crisis actor who “played his part”, and last but not least the desperate u turn media stunt which backfired by super stooge Alex Jones whom you cite above..

          10. ReproBertie

No, that was a genuine question. I know Bodger has more than one account and thought you might be one.

I never said I believed Alex Jones. I laughed at his public apology and you took this to mean I get my news from him and believe all he says. In fact the only stand I took on Alex Jones was to say that I do not believe he has any credibility.

I enjoy the sport of MMA and you have taken this to be an infatuation.Do you understand the concept of a casual fan?

Your evidence for, as an example, Mike Pence was an article about how the conspiracy is rubbish and he was asked about it because a staffer was promoting it. The evidence I asked for was evidence of pizzagate and it was a direct reply to your mocking reply to my post about pizzagate being debunked by numerous media outlets and law enforcement agencies.

The Dan Brown thing was not last week. Mental gymnastics is not an insult and my use of it was a direct comment on your claim that denying something was evidence that it’s real. Given your track record here lunatic conspiracy theorist seems a pretty accurate description.

          11. ReproBertie

So you believe it because people with an agenda made massive illogical leaps to link it all together and then everyone laughed at them?

          12. jusayinlike

“I enjoy the sport of MMA”

Is this a professional sport and can you provide a link to it being established as a sport..
If not I’m partly correct about your judgment.

Joe Rogan who presents UFC also provides a speaking platform for Alex Jones, they are friends, you admire Joe Rogan and cite Alex Jones, spin all you like casual fan or otherwise..

            “Why do you believe pizzagate?”

This is the question you asked me Bertie, which I answered, if you want the whole thing it will have to wait till later as I don’t have the time to list it all as its so large citation wise.

          13. jusayinlike

“media outlets and law enforcement agencies”

crude american speak, copy and paste more than likely..

          14. ReproBertie

            MMA is a sport. http://www.immaf.org/

Actually I’m not a fan of Joe Rogan at all and UFC is not the only branch of MMA and not even the only professional version.

Your ignorance of the world of MMA is now well established.

          15. jusayinlike

Ok Bertie, but it’s an Olympic sport or even a professional sport, by your sentiment chess is a sport, is that what you’re saying?

“I’d be upset if Joe Rogan said he wasn’t a fan of MMA”

Why would you be upset about that?

            Your unravelling dude..

          16. ReproBertie

Bodger does post under more than one name. I’ve seen posts under another name edited to be posts by Bodger.

          17. ReproBertie

I’ve seen at least one post, possibly by John ‘Preposterous’ Ryan (and apologies if it wasn’t him) magically become a Bodger post.

          18. jusayinlike

Bertie what are you on about, try to keep it clean and relevant and stop dragging people unnecessarily, and kudos for allowing this conversation to roll, and thanks to Bertie also for the quid pro quo I’m enjoying the exchange (with the exception of the insults)

          19. ReproBertie

Ah come on, that was clearly a joke based on your repeated dragging of my enjoyment of MMA into the conversation.

I’m saying MMA is a sport. I’m not sure what you’re asking with the Olympic stuff.

Are you under moderation? That’s not a dig or an insult. The timing and appearance of your posts seems to be all over the place. I’ve posted only to see more posts of yours appear above mine. (I already posted this question down below under the wrong reply.)

          20. jusayinlike

Oh your joking now, very difficult to tell in between all the insults, if you’re saying MMA is a sport by that sentiment so is tiddlywinks, it’s not an olympic sport and I’m pretty doubtful it’s even a professional sport, I’m not gonna mention moderation only to say that bodger has been very liberal with it and much thanks must go his way for allowing this exchange to carry on..

          21. jusayinlike

My inclusion of MMA is to show your wobbly judgement, it also serves to show your conflict of interest re Jones and Rogan, and I’m free to include it seeing as though you have questioned my judgement with phrases like mental gymnastics and comparisons to lunatics, the hypocrisy of you taking exception to me including MMA whilst your free to cheap shots about my integrity is laughable, your assertion that I’m restructuring the conversation whilst you label me a bodger sock puppet and drag John Ryan needlessly into is also quite hypocritical, keep it clean and relevant Bertie your wrecking it for everyone otherwise..

          22. ReproBertie

“if you’re saying MMA is a sport by that sentiment so is tiddlywinks, it’s not an olympic sport and I’m pretty doubtful it’s even a professional sport,”

Clarify this for me. Are you saying an activity has to be professional or Olympic to be a sport? If so be sure to tell the GAA.

          23. Nigel

Of course that means at one point you were agreeing with Jones quite emphatically, with all that implies. We were disagreeing with Jones before it was cool.

          24. jusayinlike

You raised your white flag ages ago Nigel, at least Bertie has the spinal column to stay in the exchange..

          25. jusayinlike

Nigel I never agreed with Jones, he claimed that pizzagate was specifically a democrat thing, I never agreed with that.. You didn’t agree with him either obviously but now you do for some reason, I never agreed with him..

          26. Nigel

Hey if I suddenly agreed with you about MMA would that suddenly mean you agree with me and hang off my every word and destroy (har) your credibility? Is that how you think it works?

          27. jusayinlike

But you hang on Alex Jones’ every word so who really cares about your opinions.. or your desperately bitter snarks..

          28. ReproBertie

There are professional MMA fighters. The big names and the big money are to be found in the UFC (which has links to the regular mafia. You are the first person I’ve heard mention the Chinese mafia though I’ve heard of Yakuza links with the now defunct Pride outfit) but there are smaller outfits all over the world. The best known in Ireland is probably Cage Warriors which is where McGregor got his start. There are journeyman professionals in America making a living below the UFC which, by definition, means it’s a professional sport. If you were genuinely interested I’d recommend reading Thrown by Kerry Howley or even Got Fight by Forrest Griffin to get an idea what life is like as journeyman in the lower leagues.

I’m not a fan of Joe Rogan but then all I know about him is from the UFC events where he spends his time overhyping everything. Of course that’s his job but still. I had no idea that he and Alex Jones were friendly but it doesn’t surprise me that two big mouthed idiots would be drawn to each other. I certainly wouldn’t look to either of them for information on world affairs.

      1. ReproBertie

Ha Ha Ha! No. Pizzagate has been debunked many times by news outlets and law enforcement agencies but that didn’t stop the spread of it by conspiracy idiots. Now even Alex Jones has had to admit that it’s fantasy and I find that exceptionally amusing.

          1. ReproBertie

What evidence? The link to the article that says “Flynn the Younger recently gave credence to the baseless Pizzagate conspiracy theory”?

            Dig up, stupid!

          2. jusayinlike

You keep hanging on Alex Jones pearls of wisdom there Bertie, I’m not surprised to be fair considering your infatuation with Joe Rogan and the monstrous MMA..

          3. jusayinlike

Alex Jones peddles rubbish daily, but now he’s telling the truth Bertie, is that what you’re saying yeah??

          4. jusayinlike

Btw Bertie, the daily beast link re Flynn jnr and pizzagate highlights that Flynn snr wasn’t sacked for phone calls with Russia, why would the state dept invent that fake news thread?

          5. ReproBertie

Ha ha ha! You just keep slogging away with the UFC references. It’s a sure sign that you’re irritated. I can completely understand why. One of the main conspiracy loons has had to issue a public apology for spreading the pizzagate fantasy and admitting to the world that it’s fantasy. No wonder you’re upset. I imagine it’s how I would feel if, for example, Joe Rogan said he didn’t like MMA!

As I remember it, Flynn lost his job for misleading the VP about his contact with Russia and not for the actual contact. Sure if Trumputin was sacking people for contacting Russia he’d have nobody left!

          6. jusayinlike

So what you’re saying Bertie is that you believe Alex Jones, and are infatuated with Joe Rogan?

Why would I be upset? Not following you there..

          7. jusayinlike

Oh and the MMA references are relevant, your judgment is clearly questionable if your into that malarkey..

          8. Kieran Nice Young Chap

You should totally show him by not voting and helping FG or FF get into power

            lol

          9. ReproBertie

Wow, you really do believe everything you read on the internet! No wonder the public apology/confession has you lashing out like an angry toddler.

“So what you’re saying” is internetese for “I’m about to deliberately misinterpret your comments to avoid the actual topic”.

          10. jusayinlike

No Bertie, the apology actually boosts my side of the equation, if Alex Jones denies pizzagate it’s actually a glowing admission that it exists, if you laugh at what Alex Jones 99% of the time and than turn around and agree with him just because it fits your narrative you come out looking badly, so I’ll ask you again; do you believe Alex Jones..???

          11. ReproBertie

The guy who believes Pizzagate thinks my judgement is questionable because I enjoy a sport that he doesn’t. You’re comedy gold you are.

          12. ReproBertie

Your mental gynmnastics are a sight to behold.

“if Alex Jones denies pizzagate it’s actually a glowing admission that it exists”. Couple that with your only evidence being a link to an article that specifically calls it a baseless conspiracy theory and it’s clear the more people deny it the more you believe it. That’s “only the true messiah would deny his divinity” level logic there. After seeing the speakers at the pizzagate rally at the White House over the weekend your level of crazy would fit right in.

          13. jusayinlike

Quoting Alex Jones, cheap shot petty insults to boot, banging on about mafia run UFC as a sport, and than labelling me crazy..

            lamentable Bertie..

          14. ReproBertie

Are you under moderation? Your posts are all over the shop and seem to be appearing above my replies after my replies. It makes it very hard to follow sometimes.

  1. Kieran Nice Young Chap

    Also.

Protip: never unbutton the top two buttons of your shirt. It makes you look like a douche.

    1. Joe cool

Surprised bodger hasn’t banned you yet Kieran. Ironic the Hilary hater reporting “fake”

      1. Kieran Nice Young Chap

        What?

I’m sorry? I’m not the one promising scoops that Hillary is a pedophile.

Coming any day now, I’m sure.

If you shoot your mouth off with nonsense, you’ve got to back it up at some point.

          1. jusayinlike

Kieran, I wasn’t aware that you accept your news from Alex Jones, I knew you were naive but this is a new low..

          2. Deluded

            ?
Pence wasn’t dragged into anything, he is being challenged for his administrations’ support of ridiculous conspiracy theorists, (the kind of nonsense that undermines and marginalises real investigations).
There are a lot of actual things that je has said and that are happening that Pence could be challenged on.

          3. jusayinlike

          5. Nigel

Do you genuinely think we’re just gagging for a Republican to be dragged into it to suddenly become pizzagaters?

          6. Nigel

He’s being enigmatic and sarcastic – or sarcasmatic as Socrates called it. It’s really persuasive, isn’t it?

          7. Nigel

And that’s how you empirically prove things is it? Look at which professional fake news loudmouth agrees or disagrees with it? I hold you and Alex Jones about equal in credibility.

          8. jusayinlike

That’s a question for you Nigel considering you broadly agree with him, I would say you are best qualified to answer..

        1. Brother Barnabas

“If you shoot your mouth off with nonsense, you’ve got to back it up at some point”

Nonsense. I’ve managed to live my entire life otherwise.

          1. bertie blenkinsop

Likewise, I got around it by hanging around WITH the bullies, got me through school unscathed :)

          2. bertie blenkinsop

            I’ll be honest –
for a while I was wondering why everyone was giving out about yer woman from The One Show.

          3. Brother Barnabas

I really really like that. obviously it’s complete sh1t, but I’ve been listening all afternoon and I love it.

          1. Nigel

BECAUSE MIKE PENCE IS A LONG WAY AWAY AND WE HAVE TO RAISE OUR VOICES FOR HIM TO HEAR THE QUESTIONS WE’RE SUPPOSED TO BE ASKING

    1. Kenny Plank

He looks like pizzagate didn’t apply to him. As for Denis O’Brien – the opposite.

    1. Deluded

      Savage tackle, Wales got frustrated.
I thought Bale was lucky to stay on after his tackle on O’Shea.

      1. ReproBertie

Wales are going to appeal Bale’s yellow. I know Ireland were lucky to avoid a few with the high elbows but that seems a bit hopeful. Disaster for Seamus Coleman. Shocking end to a great season.

        1. Deluded

I suppose they could appeal, it’s worth a shot (as it were) but according to the Irish Times the Wales manager, Chris Coleman, said it’s because the home side were just as bad, not that Bale was innocent of a “studs high” tackle.
(There were some dodgy elbows thrown, in fairness- perhaps a system of citing players after the match for these missed infringements would be better than escalation)

          1. bertie blenkinsop

Horrible injury for Coleman, he’ll be a big loss.

On a side note, that lad with the trumpet should get a 10 game ban.

          2. Happy Molloy

Oh he was so annoying, I was in the pub and the sound was up and it when the trumpet played it was like a rape alarm

          3. bertie blenkinsop

And on the Coleman tackle, I think if Taylor had genuinely mistimed it, he would have gone straight to him to see if he was okay.

          4. Brother Barnabas

Absolutely. Taylor is a thug. This season alone, he kicked Kyle Walker in the face (6 stitches) and broke Dušan Tadić’s nose with another kick.

      2. rotide

Awful tackle, Nobody can think it didn’t deserve red after seeing what happened next.

Thought Whelan should have been at least booked, if not seen red for his elbow

      + 1 too many
