Taoiseach Enda Kenny has restated that he retains confidence in Garda Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan.
Speaking in Tralee, he said today’s meeting between the Commissioner O’Sullivan and Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald would allow the commissioner to outline all the facts available on what was a “very serious and important matter”.

The Commissioner is retaining confidence after the fresh hell.

This makes no sense at all, there must be something going on in the background. It would be much easier to simply force her than to try to justify this incompetence.
There’s something very Irish about having to be dragged out of office kicking and screaming. They don’t feel shame.

person without credibility has confidence in other person without credibility .. now usually when someone without credibilty gets an opportunity to look better than someone, and maybe boost their credibility, they take it. unless something else is going on. which i think there must be. why is he backing her?
