to my knowledge it depends…
if it’s a DCC variant you’re in deep shtick, pointless exercise you will get done
if it’s a private variant and provided you can show you haven’t damaged the clamp during its removal (it’s pretty easy to do using simple tools see utube) you’re ultimately in good shape
