I brought the mammy for an afternoon tea in Ashford castle a little while back. It was cheaper than what it would cost you in Dublin and the staff are all local and uber friendly which is rare enough now. Highly recommend it, there’s a surprising lack of snobbery about the place.

You’re always full of the most interesting facts, dear deluded.

            I do enjoy your comments.

Was that before the massive rehaul of the place? ‘Twas nice before but apparently it’s gone to another level of swanky in the past 6 months or so.

I too have visited our fine castles, treated my family to fine lunches and the grounds. Luttrelstown was particularly funny as my young nephew was a Beckham fan and could not believe that I lived nearby and didn’t ‘pap’ the day of the Posh / Becks wedding.

I don’t understand this insistence that she could only possibly be with him for the cash. Granted he’s no oil painting, but Caroline Wozniak – a wealthy woman in her own right and easy on the eye – obviously saw something in him beyond his wallet, so why not Erica too?

Whenever I hear or see a man use the word ‘bitter’ in relation to a woman, I think projection :)
