I only read the Parish Newsletter on a Sunday.
Have a beautiful sunny day on me tomorrow, Broadsheeters.

oooh oooh oooh! jase….I was doubtful about my finances but it’s ok now because.

Time for a bit of a splurge now on the house, I’ll dig out the oul EBS book.

And shure I could go for that nice 171 reg Passat after all..well maybe on the PCP.

And shure wouldn’t be a bit of help for that fine man Noonan, help his numbers.

Fine paper that Sunday Independent, I particularly like the paid advertisements of a Sunday telling me what to do, thank god for it!

…excellent…Toimes reporting that Stephen Fry and RTE being investigated for criminal blasphemy…the prosecution line-up there would be good…Ronan Mullan, Nicholas Kearns, Iona 6*?

    * Iona used to be 7 but one got eaten…

Hot on the heels of the nun nonsense, the RCNazis are an embarrassment to this country

From everything I’ve read it seems to be a test case by someone who is non-religious, is totally opposed to the law… and has a fair bit of time on their hands

        1. Nigel

That sounds fantastic if you don’t mind potentially making another person the subject of a police investigation.

…I tried to get the Broadsheet on Telly crowd to blaspheme by eating bacon sandwiches live on the good friday program thus giving offense to all the major religious in one go…but nobody was biting…

  3. Janet, I ate my avatar

If you were sure in your sky fairy you wouldn’t mind people questioning it
why not let himself in his infinite wisdom sort out the blasphemous in his own time

    Ya know what Broadsheet
I think we can give the Sunday Papers a miss

    Take the weekend off

    It’ll do us all good

      +1
great suggestion, save yerselves the 20 mins in bed or whatever it usually takes in making this post BS….its never worth a curse for more or less the same reason I’ve not bought one in over 20 years

What the actual fupp is the Sunday Independent up to?
Last week’s headline: “Nation’s mood at 28 year high”
This week: “Now we’re ready to spend”
Both in massive font, and underlined in red.
I don’t get it. Is capitalism at risk of imminent collapse unless we open our wallets? “Consume, you morons. Consume. Don’t you know you’re never had it so good?”

    1. Sheik Yahbouti

Yes, the whole thing depends on endless and ever increasing consumption – and what happens when we’ve consumed everything.

Listening to ken earlys interview with RT lad. Really interesting. Bodger do you work for RT Dublin office?? Would explain a lot about Hillary coverage/ general publication content for broadsheet….

    1. jusayinlike

It always interested me as to why blatant right-wingers hang around a centre left current affairs blog.. Steve if you don’t like editorial why don’t you scoot over to Joe.ie ..

        1. Steve

Don’t go on journal . Probably lots of steves.

Have a listen to early’s interview – very interesting

          1. Steve

Btw I’m not in anyway trying to say that people on here who have grievances with the establishment/Irish politics are all RT agents .

But the editorial fascination with wiki leaks last year . Then again bodger hadn’t been publishing any “I heart le pen” content

Anyway hope all are enjoying the sunshine

          2. jusayinlike

That’s it Steve, play possum.. your presence here on broadsheet only serves to show how confused/concerned right-wingers are at the moment..

          3. LW

Well thank goodness they’re showing it somehow, the way they keep winning elections was starting to make me think they hadn’t a care in the world

          4. LW

Your conviction can’t be questioned, but what are you basing this swinging pendulum on?

      1. LW

@jussayinglike Is that not infinitely better than everyone remaining in their own silos?

        1. jusayinlike

Who supported Trump classter?? Bodger was anti-Hillary, that doesn’t mean he’s pro-Trump..

          1. Nigel

You want one person in a two person race to lose, it means the other one wins. You and Bodger and Putin picked your side.

          2. Nigel

Why? Would it be more substantial then your moral and political stance on the 2016 US election?
