Much so-called art says nothing and leaves me numb.

So no art does not always ‘provoke’ or get ‘ a reaction’.

            Art is drugs
            Drugs are an art.
            Drink is a drive.
            Money is a curse.

It’s well executed, but it’s a bit of a rip-off. At the time of the referendum result there was a 3D image published in some newspapers of the circle of stars with one ‘broken off’. So it has provoked a ‘seen it before’ reaction for me.

You might say “hackneyed” as much as rip-off.
The trope of somebody chiseling something off a symbol of something is old hat.

Yeah, but who did it in Dover?

I think that Dover was the point of it, and the fact that the chiselled star looks like there’s a monster emerging from it, but my eyesight might not be as good as yours is. I dunno.

I saw over the weekend that Bodger was quite annoyed that the hack and release of emails did not have the desired effect.

Well, yeah, but it’s not like other graffiti gets to the root of the issue and gives something new to consider to the experts.

The size of the thing is pretty impressive to me, otherwise, it’s ok, but maybe phoning it in a bit.

This is often true; I thought the “Steve Jobs is from Syria” one wasn’t so well thought-out.
