‘…give me the child and I’ll give you the man’…never knew that was L Ron Hubbard…every day is a school day…

Regardless of who this letter came from it would go straight in the bin on the basis of their poor grammar, maybe they should think about attending some of the lessons themselves….

I think the best answer to this is probably:
    “Shove it up yizzers hewps”.

Why’d they mention L Ron Hubbard? Sure the receiver would be far less the wiser and the man is dead anyway

I think a very strongly worded letter to your School Principal, coupled with ditto to the Department of Education is very much in order. How dare these shameless scammers target young children. This wants knocking on the head, pronto.

I’m the school admin, intercepted it when it arrived in the school post this morning, . Bit shocking that they’re dumb enough to try this. Had a good laugh in the staff room though…

Well done. They really think they can take over by covertly infiltrating educational institutions. Creepy.

There are many teachers and dept. of education officials stupid enough to sign up to this trash if they thought it meant less work for them.

Church of Scientology are having a big push on infiltrating schools in Dublin. They are operating from their Office of National Affairs in Merrion Square. They have sent similar literature to medical practitioners. It is all part of their plan to legitimise scientology . Look out for their various front groups; CCHR. Narconon, Drug Free World , Applied Shcolastics and The Way To Happiness. I imagine parents will be less then pleased to find scientology dictating the curriculum.

The older I’ve got the more amazed I’ve become on how far a sheer hard neck can get you. In my youth I was a real science fiction fan. Azimov and L. Ron Hubbard (and a number of others) were real favourites. Hubbard, ever the business man, copped on to how much could be made from faux religion (after seeing the billions made by ‘Evangelical churches ‘. He got into the business, and made a stack. Years later he admitted frankly that the whole thing was a money making exercise. This confession is studiously ignored. Is there something in the human psyche that actively craves to be cheated and exploited? I reckon there’s material for forty psychiatric symposea right there.
