      The horizon isn’t straight because the earth isn’t flat, it slopes from pole to equator. This is why boats have to be anchored down so they don’t drift away.

      Dav, that ship is the ‘Granuaile’, used for laying buoys, and also used to lift the wreckage of the ‘Rescue 116’ helicopter from the seabed off Blackrock, Co.Mayo last month.

        Much obliged, I thought the crane on it was diving related.
        I saw one of those Boys laid on it’s side on John Rodgersons Quay. Massive piece of engineering..
