46 years after the song’s initial release, Elton John sanctions director Max Weiland – one of three winners of a YouTube competition – to make a video for ‘Tiny Dancer’, shot, appropriately on the streets and highways of LA.
The song is one of three such videos that debuted at Cannes this month: Iranian filmmaker and refugee Majid Adin’s animated take on ‘Rocket Man’ and ‘Benny And The Jets’ directed as an origin story by Jack Whiteley and Laura Brownhill

Excellent.
Young Elton was fantastic wasn’t he?
Yes, a lot of good albums , Madman Across The Water and Tumbleweed Connection especially
Tiny Dancer was the first Elton song I really fell in love with, and it remains my favourite still.
I don’t know his music at all, but that song is nice, and, I think the video captures some elements of the human condition very well; we all have memorable moments in life, good and bad, but as long as the good outweigh the bad, then we know we’re doing something right – not to mention the joy of living these moments throughout life which we can revisit at will, especially when we need to.
Oh you’re in for a treat so :)
I like the Daniel song. That’s about it.
country comforts is a great song too.
he was heavily influenced by the band
Tiny Dancer in Almost Famous, best music related film In my opinion
Spinal Tap or Dig! for me.
Have to agree with Peter on this.
Almost Famous captures that feeling, you know, when you’re young and in love with music and you feel like you’re absolutely eternal…
Might have to rewatch it now.
Don’t. Now that you’re old and jaded, it’ll just depress the fupp out of you. Trust me.
Too late. Weeping into my whiskey now. Awful stuff.
