Yellow on red apparently is appealing to Marxist types. The blue thing is very clever, nice one Fergus! -(Shouldn’t you have 2 Ls – I’m also O’Neill).

I work occasionally with a fellow called O’Neil but he spells it O’Neal. I keep telling him he’s a fupping fuppwit but he won’t change.

Hey Fergus, merely a typo, I expect. I often say that that O’Neill are my go-to types for surfing wear. Also, O’Neills do a fine and extensive range of GAA wear.

Excellent. The struggle between Herr Flick and Leo Kardashian for the ‘soul’ of FG (sorry, I’m nearly helpless with laughter) continues. Let’s have even MORE shades of blue – this is, like, rilly serious Kay?

One or two ladies, too, Mildred – in fact, I think I remember you being in not so long ago?

Haha, nice one Fergus, take a bow or carry on regardless…….

It reminds me of other Tory masterplans, does anyone remember this pic from Britain that nails their so-called “right wing” and “conservative” Tory pr colours quite literally to the mast on the issue of institutional racism and so on from as early as the 1960’s:

(Scroll up and down for funny edited versions of cameron-bot’s election posters from a few years ago )

Ireland has a dual party so-called “right-wing” and “conservative” coalition majority very similar to the US dual party illusion and somewhat similar to the Tories in Britain but without the imperialist twist. The fact that we might have both parties in oppposition or together in a shared majority is irrelevant, they are the same party. It’s been like this for more generations than the known members of my family and their own known family members who were alive before them. Think of the analogy of having a good cop bad cop situation if you like.

If you want real progressive change then vote for local people who want to take direct action on policies and issues to make things better even in a potentially very short term and in only a very small way on behalf of your community. Forget about the left vs right wing, red vs blue team. It’s a binary choice of following one of two halves of the same idealogy.

Conservatism, Liberalism and all the other Democratic and political terms have been hijacked. The literal, technical and coloquail meaning of the words through the use of the language can no longer be easily defined and understood to mean anything clear, certain and trustworthy. You all think you are in the loop and backing the right horse but It’s all double-speak designed to keep you in your place unless you can see through it for what it is and transcend the situation.

Either way, whoever you vote for.. (i.e. ideally NOT the 60% majority Fine To Fail coalition) and no matter how weak or powerless a candidate may seem as an independent or member of a smaller party it will all add up bit by bit, person by person, one change and one step further forward faster and faster to a more progressive and more balanced society than we have now. Over time a more varied and diverse representational system of governance is a much better political future for everyone together.

Breaking the stranglehold of the majority, in our case a so-called “conservative” and “right wing” one in Ireland has never even had a chance before let alone had a fair chance to fail miserably or perhaps even prove itself as a more inclusive system accross the whole political spectrum for Irish citizens.

Just for a while forget about the 1/10th of 1% and the 1% vs the 99% and the top this vs the bottom that etc. it’s all economics related jargon for a situation that will never improve anything without solving the real problem of true political and idealogical change.

Think about how only 60% of the voting Irish public are maintaining control for the dual party coalition and their monopoly over Irish politics and the state in all areas of our lives as citizens.

“It is not only the slave or serf who is ameliorated in becoming free… the master himself did not gain less in every point of view,… for absolute power corrupts the best natures.”…

“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Great men are almost always bad men.”….

“Get up, stand up. Stand up for your right… ooooh ye….”

Just my two bits. You dont need to like or subscribe to anything.

Bob Marley liked disco music too though…
(Maybe too much “ooooh” instead of an “oh ye” the last time though)

      Don’t give up the fight….

Oh Ye !.. here me right now ye yeah!…
