…labour outside the US Embassy…didn’t you used to have your own parking spot inside…

Since Ireland is firmly on course to miss the emissions targets set under that Paris Accord maybe this protest should be outside the Department of the Environment.

“•Ireland’s non-Emissions Trading Scheme sector annual emissions are projected to be 9-14 per cent below 2005 levels by 2020. However, the target is 20 per cent below 2005 levels.
•Ireland’s agriculture emissions are projected to increase by 2% for the period 2013-2020.
•Transport emissions are projected to show strong growth over the period to 2020 with a 13-19 per cent increase on 2013 levels.”

Fairly sure we’ve only met our emissions targets so far due to reduced traffic during the recession. Also I think it’s policy to just buy carbon credit, instead of taking action to reduce production

Trump ignored his own daughter, CEOs of countless multinational companies, and the heads of state of various world powers. But hes definitely going to listen to 20 crusties with placards in Dublin.

Not really who’d I’d call crusties in fairness. They seem like a pretty normal bunch

if i had a euro for every person protesting the paris pull out but couldnt actually tell you what the paris agreement entailed I really would be a multi millionaire. trump is an idiot but the paris agreement is a bureaucratic boondoggle, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
