We are appealing for a special home for Stevie, our adorable, blind hedgehog. He would love to live in a safe, walled garden. His adopter would need to provide food, water and a suitable nesting area.
If you are interested in adopting this lovely boy please pop into the shelter ( Mt Venus Rd, Newtown, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin). We are open seven days a week from 11 to 4.30.
Anyone?

Ah. I would love to, but I have no garden
If you got a problem with slugs then Stevie would be your man.
awwww! i would of course, but I’m in noo yawk.
I’d love to… but I fear my cat may eat him. Honestly.
Will we be able to find out if he finds a new home? Will there be an update?
Mildred, we’ll update daily on Stevie’s status.
Thanks Bodge! :D
Mildred, I’ve a 49Kg American Akita who, in her wisdom, tried to investigate a young hedgehog in our garden last year, and believe me, she regretted it; it was funny to observe because she learned her lesson quite quickly; the next time she saw it, she assessed it from a distance, then made an [Aesop’s] Fox and the Grapes type sniff towards it, and left it alone.
I fear my own dear pet is not nearly so intelligent as that. She’s rather daft, but I like her.
there’s hope yet so :)
Prickly subject.
Stevie because he’s blind, I *ahem* wonder?
