Let’s get real. People working in the media are there for a paycheck. Morals and ethics are a distant second to satisfying the advertisers. Let get real. I’m so real. Maybe too real. Real. You even real M8?
i was on the ferry home from England Tuesday night and there was a UK Daily Mail lying about.
You’ve not seen partisan reporting until you’ve actually read it. Whilst this stuff here is terrible, it’s not a patch on Quentin Letts…
We’re getting there, mind.
*sighs*
There was a UK Daily Mail lying about what..?!
Yeah, UK mail makes ours look like good reads
I wonder what way a guy called Quentin Letts leans…
Not forgetting:

would buy none of the aforementioned papers……
Right wing rags.
Did they find the brick thrower?
Da Sundagh Worrrltd (worse paper ever), the Daily Heil and another DOB creature?? Yes, I utterly condemn the right of public protest and I call for the death penalty for all who engage in it. Would yiz ever fupp off. Talk about sore losers.
They’re not that far off about Murphy. He’s as vile and inept as any of the FG, FF, labour lackies and in it for the personal gain in the long run. He’s just chosen one side over another is all.
At least Joe Higgins whom I had a love hate relationship with actually believed in his convictions
+1
I liked Joe
Yup. Joe had a sincerity that (I think) is lacking in Paul Murphy.
Joe is a hero of mine. He didn’t lie, he never wavered, he remained true to his principles to the end of his political career.
What was Joe convicted of….and why did he believe in them?
Let’s not forget that the protestors were compared to the so-called Islamic State in the Dáil, by a FG TD..Noel Coonan…”Nip that in the Bud”
Were they? A perfectly cromulent comparison. I must move to that guy’s constituency so I can vote for him.
I haven’t forgotten the inane utterances of that fat sub-human, nor will I.
While Joe Higgins was an admirable and principled advocate for socialism, Paul Murphy is a notice box who believes that the blanket word of protest is a license for very aggressive mob like behaviour. The salute they gave after the court ruling reveals alot…https://www.rte.ie/news/2017/0629/886505-jobstown/
In fairness that Sunday World cover makes it look as if the guy has the most amazing water pistol EVER.
I believe the kids call it the ‘fake news’ these days.
Big shoutout for the Irish Times and Noel Whelan

Yeah, this sh#te worked on Corbyn. The people who buy these rags are dying off, in droves.
And it can’t come soon enough, Friscondo.
