Everything is wrapped in brown paper and lovingly labelled ‘Cork’?

I used to know a bloke from Cork.
We used to call him Korky.
    – You’d think he’d take it like a compliment, but no…

Woulda been nicer if they didn’t use Times New Roman font on all the labels. Spice it up a bit with an Arial Black or an Impact. God knows the world could do with a bit more Verdana.

            Ladies, please excuse my remiss.
I’m not nearly always as tardy as this
            I’ll be back next week
            Acting like a friendly freak
You know I’m only taking the Hang on…
            …there’s a weirdo hiding in the bushes. I’m not messing. I didn’t imagine it…
-He looks like he’s gone a bit ‘Bertie’.

I’ve always admired how Corkonians (or Corkies as we call them in the capital) love everything about Cork. Tell a Dub that Dublin is a great city and you will get an earful of how actually crap it is….. tell a Corkie that Cork is a great city and they will agree with you and speak about then gaff for hours!

lets bring back the pride to Dublin…

I love Dublin with every ounce of my being, I get homesick if I even have to go to Ashbourne.

Corks floating along nicely lads. Dublin is one of the richest cultural capitals in the world.
Is there anything to be said for Offaly?

This is why I will NEVER partake in online conflict.
I don’t even know where Offaly is.

The Bar-man who served me my “Porn Star” cocktail in The Temple Bar the other day was from Tipp, I did ask was his accent from Cork. I think he charged me extra.

          1. Shayna

It did take him a very long time, 20ish minutes to present my cocktail, apparently they only do it next door, I made a “joke” about it being a long way. So, undoubtedly there was a certain amount of sputem involved.

The uneven Title Cap usage is hurting my eyes.
Cork is grand, like. I can say that, being from there. I wouldn’t go back and live there in a fit, though.
