Can anyone explain why there are cobbles along certain sections of the Luas Line. I’d like to point out the picture above that shows 1 have of a street cobbled and the other half Tarmacked and Luas lines on BOTH halves..

The cobbled parts are not for vehicles, this is the same on the existing Luas lines – kind of like pedestrianised surfaces for Luas so maybe these are luasised?

“….Mr Dudley White, B. L., M. A., who stood on Arran quay outside Mrs M. E. White’s, the pawnbroker’s, at the corner of Arran street west stroking his nose with his forefinger, undecided whether he should arrive at Phibsborough more quickly by a triple change of tram or by hailing a car or on foot …”

Great news Mr Dudley. It will soon only take a double change of tram. There’s progress for you (if you don’t count the fact that all the other tram lines are gone)

When’s it open to the public?
Do you need to change trams at Stephens Green or can you stay on all the way South-North?
