You should discuss why Broadsheet is now a La-La Oobly doobly safe space and no dissent from the Sparkle-Puffin party line will be tolerated.

Or are you too chickey poo?

    1. Zuppy International

And tell us which liberal pweepy-pweee prefers to moderate in baby language. If you’re going to post about adult topics like abortion then your insistence on baby talk is a little incongruous to say the least.

    2. scottser

I can’t believe I’m agreeing with zuppy. But Yeh, if I want Googoo nonsense I’ll play with my dingle dangle doo doo.

    1. Janet, I ate my avatar

however when dealing in an adult conversation
shouldn’t you be able to make your point without swearing ?
unless you’re talking out of your hoo-ha that is ?

  2. Zuppy International

I’m not swearing in the comments. These are normal descriptive words that are being altered.

    1. Janet, I ate my avatar

really ? odd, I assumed they must be as only my swearing gets poopied etc. Are they offensive words then ? Genuinely interested

Once again, Rotide or @editor spelt backwards, are you besties with Mr Ryan or do you just like name-dropping?

Just curious. Your continuous references in the comments seem very ‘personal’….

          1. rotide

I dont know him at all. I call him JR because you can’t spell his full name without going into auto-moderation.

I refer to him personally rather than bodger/chompsky because as far as I can tell it’s really just him running the gaff.

Continue poking at some dark conspiracy though, it seems to keep you amused.

          2. Frilly Keane

            And d’ya know wha’
            I’m with Rot on this

I’d prefer to address the boss as JR
That Bodger thing doesn’t suit my kinda talk

            And I effin hate Preposterous
Even though I apply it sometimes in the pit

            ‘effin hate it
especially when he opens the show
            Tis like a Parlour Sketch

          3. Tony

Didn’t BS already say in comments that all your ‘inside info’ was wrong or years out of date? Did you used to work for them and get fired Rotide? Genuine question

          4. Lilly

@Rotide – I take my hat off to him if he runs the BS empire all on his own. And to think dairy farmers complain about the hours.

          5. rotide

I never claimed to have ‘inside info’ . I said I met them once. If they responded to that I never saw it. I also guessed that bodger and chompsky were slush accounts for admin/posting purposes and surmised it was JR using both for the most part.

I’ve obviously never worked for bs. As to it being an ’empire’, it’s hardly the BBC. JR clearly works very hard researching the giant timeline posts and has the best sub-editing skills this side of fleet street as evidence by the headlines but the rest I would imagine is pretty standard given his background in publishing.

          6. Brother Barnabas

I think the long timeline pieces (which are extraordinary) are olga cronin’s work. the depth, detail, precision etc seems to be her thing. not that it matters.

    Here’s the script-\

Ryanair bad and schadenfreude at O Leary’s misfortune and the evils of capitalism. Some waffle about a couple who missed their honeymoon. godluvthecraythurs sez the frillzmeister

Ibrahim good and shame on Ireland etc.. someone will propose Colm O Gorman for his long awaited and badly hidden bid for the Aras. The others will agree.

Disclosures Tribunal- TLDR but shame on Ireland anyway cos Mary Boyle or Gemma sumwat. Maybe someone will propose a vigil? Anyone.. no? ok so. Moving on.

Zuppy- some slagging and twiffle jizz

    Then cocoa and leaba.

    1. Frilly Keane

An ‘ d’ya know wha’ Miles
      I’d run meself
Before I’d put me name t’ an’ting supporting Colm O’Gorman

And believe me tis’nt very well hidden ah’tall
      His intentions

The Johnny Come lately slurry about “A Social Contract in the Constitution” presentation he gave in ‘scorthy a couple of weeks ago was far from behind the door

        1. Amorphous Kerry Blob

What? So you don’t believe the opinion you just said?
*pulls smug face, like a tortoise that’s learnt to enjoy the stink of it’s own farts.*

  4. Steve

You going to talk about FG outlawing zero hour contracts??

We really are living through the worst right wing government in……oh

    1. Walter-Ego

The banning zero hour contracts was started by Ged Nash of Labour a few years ago.
      Coincidentally another Right Wing Party.

  5. Lilly

I’m delighted the pilots are about to shaft Ryanair. It’s a long road and all that… or a long runway.

Quick question: what would a work to rule look like? They still have to fly the planes, comply with safety procedures etc. What can they do to put a spanner in the works?

    1. Frilly Keane

I’d say stick strictly to weather forecasts and exaggerate their concerns, do more diversions – even if a passenger only has a migrane, remove baggage from the plane etc

slower turnarounds because they need to check a dodgy battery in the smoke alarm

instruct Cabin Crew not to sell stuff and to say in their seats for the entire flight

rining in sick because they had a drink the night before

  6. snowey

I often wonder how many people post here and also on boards dot ie
often I find posters making very similar (usually right-on cuase de jour stuff) arguments.

  7. snowey

ah here….on santa’s list for everything now?
    boo—what is the story?

should I move to the liberal.ie????

  8. badatmemes

    I’m drunk, but still…
I fail to understand any ANY critism of BOTV from anyone.

Snipers firing blanks, that’s what you are.
    Incognito.

Do you ever look at yourselves?

BOTV is a wonderful thing, so STFU.
Nobody cares if you don’t like it. Instead we laugh at you when you try to explain why.

    It’s jealousy, isn’t it..?
    We know.

    1. badatmemes

      PS.
Johnny K… I don’t understand how you do it.
YOU are the reason I tune in.
YOU are the ‘voice of reason’, articulating my sentiments of One Love, Peace, Harmony and Inity.
      You know it’s true.

      We can bunn down Babylon.
      Champions…. together.
      Singing the same song, brudda…
