The last two clamped cars I’ve seen in the city centre have been the same, the top chain not applied properly. Not complaining really, clamps are, for the most part, a stupid idea. “This car is causing an obstruction to parking and/or traffic, I know what we’ll do, we’ll make it even harder to move so the obstruction persists for longer”.
Saw a car clamped on Crow Lane in temple bar. same thing. the owner just tipped it away from the wheel and drove off.
Hasn’t fallen off, you dum-dums, it’s still locked around the axel.
Chances are it hasn’t really fallen off, the chain normally goes between axle and some suspension parts so it is still attached to car and would be dragged along if tried to drive away causing damage to car.
