Simon Delaney

On The Ray D’Arcy Show

Following his success on Celebrity MasterChef actor and presenter, Simon Delaney’s passion for cooking will be showcased on the show as he whips up tasty dishes and cocktails for Ray to sample. As well as sharing recipes from his book ‘Simply Simon’s The Diner Cookbook’ he will chat about his career and plans for the future.

Irish Snapchat star Paddy Smyth will join Ray to talk about dating with a disability. Born with Cerebral Palsy in his legs, Paddy documents his experiences online to show that having a disability should never be a barrier to living a full and fun-filled life.

Fresh from their gold medal win at the World Rowing Championships in Florida, Skibbereen rowers Mark O’Donovan and Shane O’Driscoll join us for their first TV interview after their biggest achievement yet.

And broadcaster and author Kathleen Watkins will join Ray on the couch. She’ll chat about the success of her book ‘Pigin’ and how she was inspired by her grandchildren’s imagination to create her fictional character.

Any sentient person can just ignore this dross and resolve to not pay for the licence. What I don’t get is those who willing give up their Saturday night to be part of the audience.

    Maybe they’ve been abducted?

there is no way that being in any way associated with ‘Celebrity Master Chef’ is a genuine success, or that an ‘Irish Snapchat Star’ is actually a thing

You mean TV3 and the Iftas don’t count? Oh, and he was going to break American too. So there’s that.

I will say this. Aul Simo there did a great series on ancient castles of Ireland with tv3 and I found it very good altogether.

Of course it did have that gritty bleak look that seems to attach itself to most tv3 stuff (intentional or not idk) but you can’t blame Simon for that, and overall it was a good watch.
