Staying In Tonight?

at

What’s the difference between ‘dating birds’ and ‘texting birds’?

A new series of Salon Confidential starts tonight on RTÉ2…

Melanie O’Connor writes:

There’s something about the intimacy of the stylist/client relationship that makes people open up and share their inner most feelings with their hairdresser – things that they wouldn’t even divulge to their best friend.

Hinged on that unique bond Salon Confidential is a brand new television series which tackles life’s big dilemmas and issues exercising the nation.

The clip (above) features Personal Trainer Adam sharing his wisdom on dating with stylist Ciaran.

Salon Confidential on RTÉ2 at 10pm.

dunno, my haircutting person is not on the list of ones I’d think to confide anything to.

Would you say it’s fair comment to say this is probably the most narcissistic generation in history?

      1. Yep

You could argue it is but you would also have to consider how that thinking is facilitated and promoted like never before.

So many outlets to become a “star” and countless examples of people becoming rather well off possessing nothing more than a good head for marketing themselves.

Yes, I would. Whenever I’m within earshot of anyone in their early 20s, I despair. All acting and sounding like boo boos to me. Then again, I suppose that’s what people have been saying forever.

Yes, but they have more mirror and windows than ever before. We always had the appetite, now we have the opportunity.
