        feckit
the state of ’em there on Saturday
maybe hosting the thing is the only way they’re getting into it

although I don’t know that the problem with having some of the matches in Killarney is
        its a great venue
        and location

Apparently the technical review group didn’t even visit any stadium other than Aviva, so how they could say the likes of Parc Ui Chaoimh isn’t up to it is a mystery. Stated in the report that Parc Ui Chaoimh’s capacity is 24,000 – it’s mid-40s, in fact. Something odd about that process.

And I don’t know if you’re messing with your comments about Fitzgerald Stadium, but, if so, I disagree, It was penciled in for some of the smaller, group games. And anyway, Killarney is well set up for big influxes of people – the population swells five-fold during the peak tourist season. Good rail access, coach companies galore and loads accommodation. It’s actually an ideal venue.

            I wasn’t messing

I know all those Munster grounds like they were me own back garden
same with the towns around them

Fitzgerald stadium is a great venue
            Great views
5 / 10 minute stroll from the Killarney Park 5*
and on a day like t’day
the Tourism crowd won’t get better free media

So LeoLiar can’t establish if a phone call was made? Technology must have taken a retrograde step since Mulherin’s Kenyan foray.

Sir Mo Farah — why doesn’t the mud stick? I don’t understand how he is seen as some kind of hero when he isn’t even that good at cheating.

Its laughable at this stage. Missed 3 drug test in 370 days (got away as it was outside 365 days), main training mate (Olympic silver medals) and coach caught for drugs.

      Arise, Sir Mo(re drugs).

      1. Charger Salmons

        Great chap is Sir Mo.
        Wonderful advertisement for multi-cultural GB.
Some amount of begrudgers on here although it’s understandable given last night’s latest international failure by Irish sportsmen.

          haha so predictable

You do know a number of the Irish team were born in England don’t you? Celebrating glorious failure like the retreat of Dunkirk is thus, congenital.

      Hey Frilly,

I am in Australia, it is almost 9pm. Geez, I hope the Socceroos do better than the Boys in Green.

You will be interested to know that Ireland had a bigger Yes vote for SSM than Australia. Although, The Aussie non-binding survey was a complete waste of time and money.

you over for the International Rules?

        nice

part a’ my plan after I win the Lotto is a Melbourne Cup/ International Rules tour
        and maybe a few waves
if I’m still at it like

I have in Australia for a while. Maybe, Bob Hawke was PM when I arrived.
Yeah, it is worth the trip.

Where’s Charger and his amuzing jibes about Brexit, England having qualified for the WC but none of the other home nations and whatnot? I love to start my day with a bit of Little Britain myopia

    1. Naoml

He’s down the British Legion, guzzling some pints and pork scratchings, playing darts as his lager-lout beer belly causes an eclipse, like all fine English men.

Wondering why the sun now actually does set on th’Empire, and wiping a small tear from the corner of his eye, before drunkenly home to a loveless bungalow.

Where’s the inevitable whiney article from Tony Groves/Rory hearne/random Soc Dem sock puppet giving out about the appalling attitude of that person quoted from Dublin City Council?

Insert Social Justice Keyboard Warrior here immediately please , do not pass go, collect 100+ ‘thought’s from other clickbait-ridden misanthropes, and hundreds of page views from disaffected can’t pay won’t pay types.
