I saw the same from the coast road a couple of weeks back too, in the evening. Bit odd.

It’s supposed to be an incinerator not an outcouterator.

It’s a gas or oil fired boiler for boiling water or generating steam. Slightly bigger version of what ye have in yizzer gaffs. Get over it. It’s grand.
