      I suppose if you want the government to borrow on an even grander scale and increase taxes to fund a massive social housing scheme?
      Is that what you want diddy? How much more tax are you prepared to pay?
      Do you think people will want that, or more pertinently vote for that.

    You can’t stoke another property price bubble (the only game in town) AND have ‘affordable’ property at the same time. Unless you call €270k plus affordable?

    Truly desperate times necessitate desperate acts.
    I believe nothing will be done on this.
