So,Merkel and May won’t be the only leaders at the December summit with domestic issues on their mind.
Little Leo Verruca spent so much time re-arranging his sock drawer he took his eye off the ball.
Gay pride marches and grandstanding for the folks back home is all very well when you wield real power.
But the big players in Europe will know he is little more than a jumped-up puffball out of his league.
    Business as usual then Spudders.

      Obvious troll is obvious.
Did you see the FT article “Jobs growth and factory orders reach 17 years high in booming Eurozone” and the Independent headline “Britons face 10 years without a pay rise”?
I guess the Brits can negotiate the option of migrating to the EU, if the negotiators are smart. I hear they are unimpressive, though.

        FT and Independent.
        Both heavily Remain newspapers.
But then you’d probably lap up any old propaganda the Government meerkats at papers like The Irish Times put out.
If Blighty is so crap why are so many Irish people forced to emigrate there to find work ?
        Doh !

You seem to think that the UK will be great after Brexit, and the Ireland is fupped; why don’t you fack off to England, so, and spare us your scutter*?

No you’re not. According from your own posts, you are from England. And indeed the tone of your posts would seem to indicate this, too.

Trust me,it says I’m Irish in one of the two passports I hold.
Chin up my good man – we’re all European now.
            For a while at least.
            Pip pip !
            I say,what ?

What will you do if Leo is returned as leader? Will you continue pleasuring yourself to pictures of him in his socks, or will that be too painful?

he’s been in office since mid June so around 7 months. garett fitzgerald’s first term only lasted 8 months. he’ll likely surpass that. (and haughey’s first term only lasted 9 months; hopefully not omens)

          Everything is relative.
I find some Irish people quite happy to call their UK neighbours Tans,Brits, racist scum etc.
I regularly hear East Europeans addressed as slope-heads.
But then Paddy gets outraged when they’re called Paddy by anyone other than a Paddy.

English are (mostly) racist scum. Subconscious reactionary stuff rather than thought out. Not all, but more than half. And tend to be sadly ignorant and one-dimensional. I genuinely don’t think the Irish are racist. And are definitely less inward-looking and provincial. Brexit will make Britain worse – Brexit will be a big backwards step for Britain intellectually, culturally and socially. And certainly economically.

Racism isn’t on the increase in Ireland ?
It is – but this report is a cracker. It blames it on Trump and Brexit.
You couldn’t make it up if you tried.

You want to hear the abuse that’s heaped on my Lithuanian and Slovakian pals.

… typical English plastic paddy who thinks its fine you use a racial slur against Irish people.

The worst thing about fake-Irish people is that they are so cringeily self-unaware.

        1. ReproBertie

I didn’t use either phrase. Your defence for using a racial slur so far has been to mention that other people use racist slurs, that there is racism in Ireland and to suggest that some of your friends are subject to racism.

So the new defence is “How is a word used in a derogatory way to describe an entire nation of people a racial slur?”.

You don’t accuse yourself of being a Plastic Paddy when you celebrate Patty’s Day? I always do. Fierce recriminations in the Andyourp household.

            Plastic Paddy.

Shame the Irish won’t be there to witness them.
