I’ve read two polls, 90% want Frances Fitzgerald out in 1st poll, 75% want her out in 2nd poll. FG out of touch with public opinion and could be hit hard at general election over this fiasco. We are a laughing stock.

It would be more than a little amusing if Varadkar’s stint as Taoiseach was the shortest yet. Let’s see the €5m Strategic Communications Unit spin that one.

Novelty socks will only get you so far.

The only party that could overtake FG is FF, and that is unlikely. So if we do have an election, Leo will most likely be the Leader

Its time he pulled up his socks and booted her out along with Flanagan
Who also has allowed the acting head of the guards to make a decision that no
action will be taken against those who recorded bogus breath tests, this is fraud
what credability has this organisation in upholding law and order even investigating
fraud if it allows it to happen within its own ranks
And Varadkar needs to take over the Justice Portfolio at once:and remove the current
acting Commissioner, what’s going on here, Mugable would not have tried it on in
    Zimbawie

It’s quite astonishing to think that this train has kept rolling for so long because of top tier of the Gardaí. They hadn’t got the decency in them to deal openly and honestly with the issues raised by McCabe. Instead they adopted sleeveen tactics in an attempt to discredit him: a whispering campaign which included, a clandestine meeting in a car park with a TD, an attempt by senior officers to give a totally untrue account of a meeting (some might consider that action to be interfering with the course of justice) etc. Then there is the question of the missing key pages from the Higgins report – it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who would benefit by them going astray.
To top it all off, it looks like the whole sorry saga will bring down the government.

Gung-ho Flanagan. Knew of the email a week before as well yet didn’t tell Varadkar, sat beside him during questioning and gave ‘mis information’. Clearer and clearer now why he was trying to shut up Alan Kelly. Another coward is Flanagan.
No sign Micheal Martin taking Centre stage for FF. Varadkar also absent last evening. What a pack of cowards.
