Is it a home video of the two of them? *shudders*
Now now, that was uncalled for.

i think we all need the mental image of Mick’s hair standing on end
I wonder who will be the first to meme what you just prompted there.
Probably something to do with not paying tax…
or drink driving.
Clare Daly was cleared of that charge. I don’t agree with all of her politics but she has played a major roll in exposing Garda wrongdoing/corruption and has achieved much more in her time in the Dáil than the vast majority of our TDs. She deserves our full respect on this issue.

Agreed. Wallace is, however, a hardware implement.
Wallace has also been excellent in helping uncover Garda and Nama malpractice.
Remember it was mick and clare daly that were shouting about this when everyone else didn’t want to know about it way back..thank be to god to them cut I suppose you support coruption
Defo. Them and McGuinness seem to be the only politicians doing their job.
Shane Ross is doing his job – keeping the locals happy (and the Garda stations open).
even stations the guards don’t want opened..
I dunno dav – even the guards were blueshirts…
John McGuiness only came on board because he was Chair of the Public Accounts Committee and was, or had to, reveal his meeting with the former former again Garda Commissioner.
That. And that his near neighbour John Deasy had full ownership of the “Grace ” scandal.
I’m going with his desire to make himself newsworthy and relevant being his main motivation, rather than dig into and expose the smear campaign and collusion we have in our news feeds today.
I see Mick Wallace TD has gone from shirts that are shocking pink to shirts that are streaky yellow. If he loses his seat in a snap election, it’ll be a hairshirt.
There you have it. Add the number of years that Kenny, Noonan, Varadkar, Flanagan, FitzGerald, etc have clocked up between them ‘representing’ us. Centuries. And it takes how long – six or seven years? – for someone with no previous political aspirations to start the process of cleaning up the filth of FFGLAB.
That’s the point that needs saying a few times. Well said Giggidy. This is the thing for honest hardworking citizens to remember in getting into politics as independents.
You can actually make a difference.
Imagine a government of independents all heading up departments they are qualified in, or at least somewhat knowledgeable. Honesty and hardworking is the most important criteria though.
Then the poxy Snr civil servants can be sacked and jailed. Yeah like Michael Flahive. Ironic justice but still justice.
Not wallaces biggest fan. But hes done a good job on corruption. Yet some moan you cant get decent politicians. When one does it you have a go over his tax. cant win
Only the corrupt can tackle corruption. Inside job.
