Hopefully the religious persecution of women and their reproductive rights will be called to a halt in this country

It’ll put a dent in Ryanair’s Ireland-UK routes profits if that happens.
A chance for Ireland to show Northern Ireland the way in liberalising abortion laws.

I don’t really know what I’m talking about here but I’d assume they’ll vote on whether to have a referendum (pretty sure they will) and then formulate the question over the next few weeks.

Overall that committee seems pretty sensible (with one or two obvious exceptions). Hopefully they can do a good job with the actual question.

Thank god they’re moving on this before anymore political f%ckery can bring down the govt and derail it.

so not long back in the country
and a shower of pro life at the door with leaflets tonight
I was delighted to ask them
    what about my life
they had the cheek to say God bless
I restrained from a fupp off to biting my tounge and a curt Goodnight
but wow now I feel back

      1. Ban the Poo. Ooh-er!

What do you mean – a shower? How many exactly?

I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of being nasty to them

I’d say come on in and I’ll make you a cup of tea and then point out to them that Virgin Mary was an unmarried mother who slept around and wouldn’t it have been better if she’d used a condom or been on the pill with all the trouble her young fella caused and he had special needs and and and

          4 is a shower
          I wasn’t nasty, I was polite.
I was shocked, brought the reality of this home to me
Then I was angry hence the dogs comment.

I don’t even go to that trouble Janie
They’re told straight out that they’re not to knock on the door again
And to note the address to inform their organisation that they’re not to approach the property again, nor are they to drop unsolicited leaflets in either

Renua and the Blueshurts crowd got the same last time out btw

Sort it out and get us a vote as soon as possible. The 8 committee has done brilliant work so far and I’m sure the members will come up with a good wording for the amendment that won’t be a complete fudge.
