When you have reached the edge of your sanity, who is to say that your nonsensical ramblings are not the finest philosophical poetry?

          I met her through work.
Put my arm around her waist in the photo.
The assembled civil servants nearly had a conniption, apparently that’s a bit of a faux pas.

probably would have been OK if it hadn’t been for the leery look in your eye and the obvious erection

I inferred it from your grumpy-sounding second question.
Maybe you are actually interested in whether I’ve met her or not? In that case, I apologise.

Topsy, Topsy. You need to make more of an effort. Though I guess it’s Friday and maybe you’re a bit tired?

it’s fierce fatiguing to be angry and bitter all the time
oh and judgy, I forgot judgy

I saw a very funny French article about how higher pitched feminine voices required more concentration of the male mind to compute so they get tired and zone out…
I’d post link but was a French piece ( a very serious publication )

Like the “Stone him, stone him” clip from The Life of Brian.
Well, not like it. It just reminded me of it.

I am not a fan of Mrs. McAleese. I’ll never forget her ‘WOW’ during Queen Elizabeth’s speech. I still cringe when I see it. I alos found her rhetoric during her presidency shallow and unhelpful
Why she wants to be a member of this Church is beyond me.
Her son of course is gay and she may be on a bit of a crusade to change this church from within , but why? Can she not get validation, spiritual or otherwise elsewhere?
I have to admit, I don’t understand people who seek solace in religion. It’s childish in my opinion.
On another note, Fianna Faíl are hoping to parachute her son in to a South Dublin constituency for the next election. Remember Mrs. McAlesse was a Fianna Faíl candidate herself.

I think Mary was probably the best president we ever had. She had an uncanny knack of connecting with ordinary people and travelled the length and breath of the country to do so. She also reached out to the loyalist community in the north which had never been done before.

As for the Catholic Church, she is a fully paid member and has an MA in cannon law. She has a ‘change from within’ approach and was able to influence people during the marriage referendum that nobody else could reach. She is a very intelligent and astute lady.

” She also reached out to the loyalist community in the north”
Comparing them to Nazis probably wasn’t a good idea.
