Give Up, Cupid

Harsh but fair.

Via KCLR:

People attending Mass in Ballycallan [County Kilkenny] are being told Lent is a day of fasting and abstinence and this should take priority over the celebration of Valentine love. What do you think?

I think I’m going to rub chocolate all over my body and get drunk of orgiastic love.

    Take THAT Ash Wednesday

Look, it’s a handy opt out for lads who are low on funds and/or are not quite sure if the person they’re with is “the one”.

Mention it and see what the response is like…

If ye have to be doing the fornicating on Ash/Valentine’s day, be a good catholic and give up the contraception for Lent too.

Also, charging almost €800 for 5 nights in Lourdes is an absolute mortaller of a sin. Ripoff!!

But sure if your €800 includes a cure for what ails you then you’re on the pigs back…

The type that would follow that advice would be in a constant state of abstinence I’d imagine

The mass and the ash or the lash and a pash? And the rash, which you will get if you pash with some ash.

I’m not a religious fellow myself but can the next church slagging article be about a different religion…or are they off limits?

or should I say a small percentage of readers to be exact considering I hail from the dark side myself and am free to bonk whenever
