    1. Yeah, Ok

It’s everyone’s business when it’s decided by a free vote in a referendum, because everyone gets a say in deciding to allow it or not. That’s the problem and one I think isn’t being best addressed here by a campaign that may very well further entrench prolife views among certain people.

  1. Yeah, Ok

I’m completely in support of repeal but aren’t some of the reasons listed the same as what the prolife campaign cite as examples of spurious and selfish behaviour in “killing babies”?

It feels like this campaign might be poorly thought out and play into the hands of the prolifers. I can’t see rural granny and grandad approving of “cannot cope” and “want to finish my education” as reasons for abortion. They’re valid reasons when preaching to the choir but the campaign has to focus on the unsure or undecided to succeed.

Rural granny and grandad and your granny and grandad are the reason you idiots are alive. Seriously some of u have the iq of a deckchair

  2. rotide

    This.

All these reasons are completely nonsensical and even offensive to pro life types.

However, nothing is going to win them over, just like nothing they say will win over firmly pro choice people. Some of these reasons are pretty compelling to people who might be undecided. As completely ridiculous ROSA’s name and previous antics are, this is a pretty good stunt.

I respectfully disagree. I think it’s going to do more damage than good to the proposal to remove the amendment.

  3. Anomanomanom

I agree with them in principle, but I can solve all seven of those problems….Don’t have unprotected sex.

    1. The Ghost of Starina

Wow, you’re so smart, anomanomanom. Why hasn’t the entire population thought of this already?!

      1. Anomanomanom

I’ve no clue why they haven’t thought about. I mean its a simple start, its not a 100% solution but it would work, so why the hostility.

Coppinger is enough to make anyone vote for anything she’s against, and against anything she’s for.

You and “Coppinger” should get together… I feel exactly the same way about you…

You both could form some kind of perfect black hole ying and yang balance of truth in between chaos and stability for everyone….

In fact, your best chance of ultimate transcendence will occur when you partner with what you probably refer to as a “left-wing nutter”..

I’d bet the house you’ll never be happier..

      You’re welcome.

  5. Responsiblewoman

Two answers to all points 1. Get a hysterectomy – if too old, family complete or health problems
    2. Don’t have unprotected sex or make sure you and your partner are doubly careful with contraception – for other 4 reasons. Why should an innocent baby suffer for your irresponsible choices? And why do you expect tax payers and health professionals to clean up for your choice to use abortion as a means of birth control. By the way I am a professional, intelligent and responsible woman not a rural granny !

  6. Princess

Can’t birth control and tubes tied answer all of these 7 reason! Seriously why would you need abortion prevention is better? None of these reasons are good enough to justify ending the babies life!
