They seem to be doing a city tour with these posters.
They were outside Leopardstown Racecourse / business park entrance last Friday.

  2. Hybridchld

Of course with the courts not sitting this week the CCJ is all but abandoned. They probably should have researched things a bit more, not that they’ve done much of that in the past.

  3. Shane

Disgusting shock tactics typical of the hysterical people that want to control others with their opinions under the guise of prolife.
The two opposing groups should be known as pro choice and anti choice.

      1. Frilly Keane

        c’mere Justin
I scrope loads of my heels there in the bath last night
        would you like photos?

        1. newsjustin

So do you think the image in the second picture shows the actual remains of a 10 week foetus or not Frilly?

          1. Frill the 8th

like I told ya over on the first corner ye pitched up on
            no
I am not permitting acceptance that this is the image of a human foetus

endorse the image with signed off
            3rd party endorsed
            certification
            that it is
that the image is accurate and truthful
and that it has not been enhanced in anyway

ye’ve no business demonstrating those images
            on that particular property
without proof those images are honest enough that the pro-choice side can test them for themselves

like provide the time date and location the image was captured
            who was in attendence
was permission granted by the parents
(cause like if you are so sure you are right about a foetus being all human etc, you would have to get permission to take the photo, handle it, distribute it etc, from the parents)
what device was used to capture the image
confirmation the image has not been subject to enhancement etc

            ye’ve already proved ye’re liars
and will coerce vulnerable people to do your bidding
            like Mr Pattern

therefore I am entitled to doubt everything else ye produce

          2. newsjustin

I wonder would Doctors4Choice agree to examine images such as this and declare If, in their professional opinion, these are what they purport to be?

Doctors4Choice could blow this angle of campaigning out of the water if they wanted to.

          3. Frill the 8th

ah would ya stop making a show of yerselves
            show some dignity

ye’re like the Clinton 2016 campaign
            BUSTED!

            ffs
Dana will be along any minute now and ye’ll have us wetting ourselves laughing at ye

          4. newsjustin

Pro choice campaigners could have knocked this campaign tactic on the head years ago if they could find doctors willing to go on record and say that these aren’t 10 week old foetuses.

They haven’t, and they won’t, because they know that they are 10 week human foetuses.

Prove me wrong Doctors4Choice. Prove me wrong!

          5. Frill the 8th

Get the Religious Orders out of the Hospitals employing these Consultants and paying their PI premiums first
same with controlling the jobs and colleges for Nurses and Midwives

Then you’ll have no shortage of expertise confirming what da úck you want

btw, as soon as yere crowd figure out a way to make money from promoting choice they’ll be on it like a bonnet

          6. newsjustin

Ah Frilly. The Doctors4Choice doctors have already nailed their colours to the mast.

Anyway, all that’s needed is a straightforward fact check, not an opinion on the rights or wrongs of abortion.

Doctors4Choice could surely expose these if they are not what they claim to be.

          7. Frill the 8th

why the hard on for Doctors4Choice Justin

like ye seem have loads of different branded ProLife supporters, Congregations, Funders and expert endorsers, Trolls and Spokespersons
            and their children

yet you keep focusing on only one from the ProChoice side
are ye afraid ye’ll all just get confused
            and then caught out
            again
            like John McGuirk

          8. newsjustin

I think Doctors4Choice would be an ideal body to give an expert view on whether these images are what they say or not. I don’t think I’m saying anything outlandish there Frilly.

Or the heads of all the maternity hospitals in Ireland. Whatever settles the matter.

          9. Jonsmoke

it can’t be a ten week old foetus. I saw a 14 week old foetus following a miscarriage my wife had 5 years ago and it was significantly less formed than what is in that picture.

          10. Jonsmoke

thanks. it’s a terrible experience but you deal with it. I had hoped this referendum debate would not degenerate but it’s too late for that I think.

          11. mildred st. meadowlark

            It’s such an emotive issue.

Very hard for either side to remain factual, to keep it from descending into petty jabs and mindless point scoring.

          12. newsjustin

It’s easy to be factual about abortion Mildred.

Abortion ends the life of a real human foetus.

            And that is profoundly wrong.

          13. mildred st. meadowlark

I don’t see any facts. I see your opinions.

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy.

In your opinion, it is wrong.

      2. realPolithicks

Yes it is a clump of cells. I assume the reason you keep asking is because you are unsure yourself.

        1. newsjustin

Well I guess I’m confused as to how someone can be pro-choice and consider the foetus just a clump of cells, yet be shocked by these images.

          1. realPolithicks

I think this is your particular interpretation of what people think because it suits your agenda.

  4. Anomanomanom

Here’s what I cant understand about these people, its a scandal if something is covered up but the country votes to legalise something then how can it be a scandal.

  5. Enn

That is not a ten week foetus. Foetus is not humanoid at ten weeks. They mislabel it because an actual ten week example does not look enough like a person to elicit identification. It’s disgusting spin and nobody is stopping them. They know they’re lying. If they have to stoop to lying, they also know they’re wrong.

    1. newsjustin

I think you’re incorrect and would like to get a foetal health specialist to fact check it.

      1. Frill the 8th

        no such thing
        is there
cause like ye’re great at makie uppie jobs

if I was to have anyone consult on the health of any foetus, I’ll have a Consultant Obstetrician, a Consultant Radiologist, a Consultant Neonatologist too probably, and a Consultant Pathologist for me please

maybe a few Lab heads, hematologists

        1. newsjustin

So there’s is no such thing as a specialist in foetal health? You’ll notice I didn’t capitalise my words. I meant (surprise surprise) a person whose special focus and training is on the health of the foetus during pregnancy.

          1. newsjustin

I didn’t want to be overly restrictive, in case other disciplines were called for. Doctors4Choice should be able to muster a good team to fact check this, surely.

          2. ReproBertie

Perhaps those making the claims could provide evidence of their claim instead of insisting that those on the other side do so?

          3. newsjustin

Yes. People using these images should provide them and any supporting evidence to a panel of experts – from say Doctors4Choice and Doctors4Life/4the8th.

What are Doctors4Choice for if not exposing supposedly fake medical evidence during the campaign?

          4. ReproBertie

For promoting the medical evidence that allowed them to decide abortion is sometimes necessary?

          5. newsjustin

They could also knock these on the head if they wanted to……unless……those images are what they say they are.

          6. ReproBertie

“Hey Repealers, dance to our tune!”

When the Repeal movement exposed the lies about “nurse” Noel they were given grief for focussing on it. Now you want to give them grief for not spending time disproving more claims from the side known to lie.

The onus when presenting something as fact is on those presenting to have the evidence to back up the claim but you don’t like to play that way. Fine, I say it’s the corpse of a 13 month old marmoset. Prove me wrong.

          7. newsjustin

Well that’s obviously not what it is.

I’d have thought proving this a fake would be a good thing for pro choice campaigners.

Maybe it would help if the pro choice campaign released an image (Or even a detailed description) of what a 10 week old foetus looks like.

          8. mildred st. meadowlark

            Really?

So then you’d agree that the poster is incorrect in claiming that it is a 10-week old foetus, when it is in fact an embryo?

At least this is what I’d gathered to be the case.

          9. Frill the 8th

            c’mere Justin

            two things
I can’t make out the finer details on those posters

            so would you mind
is there a scale guide quoted; ya know like on architects drawings or model airplanes
            and the people there
would you say they’re being paid or even being hosted here, like the Amnesty Chuggers and lads holding signs up advertising barber shops off Grafton street

            ta

          10. realPolithicks

“They could also knock these on the head if they wanted to……unless……those images are what they say they are.”

So people like you can (and do) throw any crap you want out there and unless it is specifically refuted then it must be real. That’s the kind of convoluted thinking that George Orwell would be proud of and also a good insight into how the anti choice side operates.

          11. newsjustin

Orwellian is aborting humans and telling people it means we’re a more developed and civilised society.

      2. IonaLotOfProblems

I would like to know what we should do with women currently having abortions in the UK/Netherlands/elsewhere newsjustin?
Should we test women as they leave the country. If they leave pregnant and return not-pregnant… murder charge? – Lets definitely not give them the medical assistance they need here.

          1. Daisy Chainsaw

And antichoicers have the constitutional right to be NIMBY hypocrites who don’t care that 4,000 abortions are outsourced.

    2. david

      Enn
Actually fingers toes developed internal organs beginning to function in the yolk sac
Heart the brain liver kidneys developing and the foetus even making blood
Google baby centre or even Google baby growth from conception till birth
Its out there and these are not sites lying or placing false claims
Because you do not accept it dose not make it false news or spin
      Your argument is fully flawed
This is the pro choices shooting themselves in the foot that will loose the referendum
And you go on about tactics used by the pro life brigade
You are worse using savita to push your agenda for abortion on demand

      1. Nigel

You talked about supposed ambiguous legislation following repeal leading to more Savitas you howling hypocrite.

        1. david

          Can you read Nigel?
I stated using savita to push your agenda not leading to more savita’s
          I rest my case
          You twist peoples words

          1. edalicious

It would help if you write coherent sentences and use any punctuation at all, like a normal, non-insane person, david.

  6. Martco

ah feck yiz,..I have this running around in me head now:

    dah-da da-da-da-dah!
    heads shoulders knees & toes
    knees & toes
    heads shoulders knees & toes
    knees & toes
    aaannnd
    eyes & ears & mouth & nose
heads shoulders knees & toes knees & tooooeeez

    1. Frill the 8th

I tell ya sum’ting about him
      He’s got staying power

      He’s been here years
One of the longest serving regulars actually
      And his tune never changes
      Or wavers
      Or falters

If he wasn’t so wrong, so ridiculous, so absurd and so blatenently intolerant towards women
      I’d respect him

        1. Frill the 8th

          Yes you are
          And insensitive

Like if you really stand by your own insistence that those images are genuine
And that is a full baby human

Why would you display it so callously in front of the woman that gave it to your photographer
          The women that lost babies
The women struggling to get pregnant

Your intolerance can be demonstrated in a number of ways
But let’s stick to just one ’cause I know ye have a habit of getting mixed up
You are refusing MY right to choose
And it’s because I am Female

          1. newsjustin

I am refuting your claim to a right to abort a foetus. Because that foetus is human, not because you are a woman.

In an ideal world, these images would never be seen and abortion would have no place in the constitution. But while some people seek to abort unborn humans, these images illustrate the impacts and the 8th amendment provides some protection for them.

          2. Susan

Is it a foetus or a baby newsjustin, do make your mind up. A foetus at 12 weeks doesn’t have fully operational lungs, do tell me about your plans for these babies that can’t breathe outside the womb-make no mistake 12 weeks is what this referendum is about. Does this non breathing foetus supersede the breathing woman housing said foetus?
I enjoy strident opinions as much as the next person but idealism is like a cozy pair of slippers, nice to slip on if you’ll never experience the consequences of said idealism, bonus points for you as a man given you’ll never experience pregnancy.
But do carry on, nothing funnier than blind idealism-and I do love a good laugh.
            Unborn humans, wouldya stop!

          3. Frill the 8th

            But Justin
            Nature itself performs abortions
            Daily
            In every parish in Ireland

            Is Nature wrong
            And you right?

            No.
            You’re an intolerant mysogyninyst
Who only really wants the upper hand over women

          4. Alastair

But we already have a right to abort a foetus. We voted in a referendum and decided that the right to access abortion services abroad was a legal entitlement. All that’s at issue is whether we continue the hypocrisy of subcontracting abortion services abroad and endangering the health of mothers in some circumstances in this state because we would rather not engage with an unpalatable reality.

The anti-abortion campaign focuses entirely on red herring issues. The reason for that is clear enough – on the substantive issues, they know that they’ve lost the argument. Women vote with their feet on abortion every day, and people in the majority opt to place the quality of life and health of the mother over the unborn.

  7. Bill

Poor pro death people don’t like to see what a “choice” looks like. Everyone of voting age should be made watch abortion videos so they know exactly what they are voting for.

    1. Jonsmoke

do you think that people who have abortions don’t know what it involves? do you think that they don’t suffer deeply before and long after the event? they do but sometimes hard choices have to be made. Let those people make their own choices.

      1. Sheik Yahbouti

Agreed, but we do love our portion of (other people’s) suffering, don’t we? Why not make a terrible situation even worse by blame and ‘opinion’ – it would appear to give some of us a lovely warm feeling in the lower tummy. :-(

    2. Cian

Should someone buying a steak have to watch an animal butchered?
If I want a nice fire, should I have to watch how miners actually get the coal?
Before I get a heart transplant should u have to watch open heart surgery?
